We Planned to Stay for 6 Months and Stayed for Almost 2 YEARS!
March 31, 2021When we sold our house in May of 2019, we needed a place to stay temporarily until we figured out where we were moving. Country Meadows had a vacancy, so we explored the amenities the complex had to offer. We were impressed that the apartments not only had a washer and dryer in each unit, but each had a wonderful balcony AND a garage, so we signed a six month lease. We were glad to find out how quiet the complex was, and how promptly the office staff handled any issues. So we were in no hurry ...to leave when our lease was up. In fact we moved next door to a bigger apartment and signed a longer lease. And with the bigger apartment, not only did we get two bathrooms, it had a double garage! Plus we still had a wonderful balcony! Even though the buildings are three stories, there is an elevator. We loved the security of the locked doors to the building, and the intercom/buzzer to let invited guests in. The parking lot is well lighted, and we felt extremely safe at Country Meadows. As apartment complexes in Billings go, this is one of the best, and for what you get, the prices of the leases are very reasonable. We have moved out of state now, but if we ever return to Billings and decide to rent an apartment, Country Meadows would be our first choice. We highly recommend this property. Unprofessional
March 21, 2021My girlfriend and I have had a handful of interactions with the assistant manager, all of which have been highly unprofessional. During the move-in process, a garage door opener I had in my possession for less than 5 minutes fell apart and dropped to the ground. It was clear that this occurred because the device was missing the screws used to hold the housing together. Still, the assistant manager told us we'd be receiving an $80 bill for a replacement. He then mentioned he'd "see what he could ...do about waiving the fee". About a week later, he gave me the same garage door opener (free of charge but still missing the screw). During the initial walk-through, he cracked jokes about the dinner-plate-sized stains on our carpet. He informed us that the blotches used to be a deep red, but after trying to clean them they faded to a greenish-grey (he thought this was hilarious). This “joke” was made shortly after he tore off his mask (this was at the peak of COVID-19), explaining that he couldn’t handle it any longer. He then continued to provide us with detailed (and personal) information about the former tenant. We received the rundown on how she lived in squalor, with limited furniture and belongings. Given that my girlfriend and I moved to Billings for her 12-week travel nurse contract—and only brought a handful of belongings with us—these comments came across as especially intensive. A week or so after moving in, we coordinated a time for management to obtain a DNA sample of our dogs. When we arrived at the main office, the assistant manager seemed annoyed (almost pretending like we weren’t there). After asking if the time still worked for him, he rolled his eyes at us without making any sort of verbal response. Sadly, these are just a few of the highly unprofessional events that have occurred over the past few months.Property Manager Responded

August 9, 2015The Country Manor Apartments are just what you want from an apartment building. They are extremely spacious with very large kitchens, rooms, and closets. There are washers and dryers in the unit which is super handy and there is a workout room for all of your needs. Management is always there when you need them and will take care of whatever you need!
