    This place is not luxury. So gross, roaches & mosquitoes infest hallways, courtyards, and trash shoot rooms. key fobs are old, outdated, and unreliable. Pool is gross, it is now green! Mgmt refuses to even acknowledge the problem. Unacceptable. =/

  • This is not it.

    Worst place I have stayed in my life. Here are my reasons, equally weighted: (1) Office staff will rarely reply or actually address your issues, yet they will be vocal about your rent payment and community events- priorities seem to be off the tenants, more on the business. (2) Dogs. There are dogs barking everywhere, all the time. Again, very little the office staff will do about this, if they do respond to you. (3) Marijuana. There has been a constant issue of marijuana smelling up the complex. ...
    The courtesy officer stated that there is little they can do about this. (4) Valet trash is great, until your can is taken and not replaced multiple times in the span of a month and people resort to just putting garbage bags in the hallways throughout the day. (5) Noise. If you like nascar, this is perfect for you. You can hear amateur drifters every night in downtown. On top of that, little insulation so you can hear your neighbors conversations or your above neighbors footsteps. Loud music? That'll be addressed over the course of a few months before you get any resolution. They do have a courtesy officer who will respond about 50% or less of the time (an accurate stat from my own experience). (6) Build. It looks great, until you realize the paint on the shelves will come up with whatever picture frame or box you decide to set on them. Appliances are actually nice, so check. The only saving grace with this place is it's location so that you can walk downtown, but at the expense of everything else above, I will recommend that everyone stay away from downtown SA and specifically this complex. The niceties don't outweigh the cons.

    Encore has been a very pleasant place for my stay. The peace and quite that is here is like no other. The maintenance is very good and well kept. The gym and pool areas are well maintained. Overall very satisfied.

    Encore SoFlo provides the nice luxurious lifestyle w/ great security. The high rise ceilings, all granite counter tops, beautiful tile, and community amenities make me feel like I'm living at a 5 star hotel. Staff provide top notch service in a timely manner and maintenance requests are tended to w/ in 48 hours. It also gives me great peace of mind w/ the restrictions of allowed guests and secured access to buildings. I'm glad to have found my home in the heart of San Antonio.
