This place sucks do not live here. I’m keeping my thing anonymous for a reason since if you give a bad review they come at you very unprofessionally. This place is nothing but problems. Please block out all the good reviews as they ask around for them and money off your rent if so. These apartments are nowhere near worth the price you pay for them. The “newly” updated apartments have tons of problems, from you just moving in and not even 5 minutes later seeing roaches crawling around. These ...
apartments everywhere are infested and it’s absolutely disgusting and unhealthy to live in. This place is absolutely disgusting and I honestly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. They say there is a park on the website but it’s just a rusted old slide and random rusted bars from where there used to be a park. Your kids can’t even enjoy the so called “park” because it’s an unsafe slide. Also on the website says there is community laundry.. there isn’t so don’t let this place fool you. If you don’t have a washer and dryer hook up then you have to go to a laundry mat. The central air is terrible it barley works in your unit. If you have issues with anything they will make you pay for it as if you was to own the place very unprofessional. Please keep this review in mind when you are looking at this place to live. You will wish you would have if you don’t. This place really deserves-0 stars.

Terrible Management

Parking policies drastically changed mid lease. Management has family living on-site and plays favorites. Local police department trains their SWAT unit in empty apartments on premises. Terrible experience all in all.

Coming from a professional who deals with all types of different people, these people have no respect nor care about the customer. They will go out of their way to find a way to charge you for something simple! If you plan on throwing away money then this place is fine but don’t expect to save any money living here! I feel sorry for any low income family trying to live here. Stay blessed!

Stay far, far away from this place

So, this place is an older complex that is simply falling apart. I lived there about 4 and a half years and had no less than 3 dozen maintenance requests. While maintenance has improved, I often had to wait over a week to address major issues like tub not draining or air-conditioning going out (my neighbor actually went 2 months without AC this summer). The owner is also apparently cutting costs now as they are removing such things as garbage disposals and sprayers which were essential to me as ...
my dishwasher was broken from day one of moving in. They are also putting in cheap laminate instead of carpet which amplifies the already paper thin walls particularly on the first floor where you will hear every footstep of your upstairs neighbors. I have seen obvious drug deals and even once heard gunshots in the complex. Believe me, they do not screen their residents very carefully. The pool is rarely open during the summer because it is normally pea green. You commonly have to put your trash outside of the dumpsters because maintenance fills them on trash day with mattresses and furniture. They will raise your rent every year just because they can and leave a note on your door if your rent is $10 off telling you to vacate the premise in 2 days. Then to top it all off, they apparently to not refund your deposit regardless of the cleanliness of the unit after departure. We spent 2 days making our unit spotless and we did not receive a dime back. I am unsure if the deposit is a malicious act or sheer incompetence but don't have any faith that these issues are going to be getting any better any time soon.

Nothing works.

If I could give 0 stars I would, almost a week without hot water at this point, all we get is management telling us they will let us know when they expect it to be back on, this is the fourth time this year we have lost all hot water, on top of the numerous other issues we’ve had with this place, to name a few, took months to get the dishwasher replaced that didn’t work when we moved in, heat and air conditioning were broken at move in, and neither were fixed by the time they were needed. yourself a favor and never touch this place or chimney hill. No one here gives a crap if you’re stuck with no hot water, dishwasher, etc.
