Excellent Office Staff
December 10, 2019I just wanted to say thank you to all of the office staff that has been helpful to me in finding my new home. Stephanie and Jesse went out of their way to show me a couple of different floor plans between Oakpark and The Woods. They explained the specials to me for that month. It was just a great experience and now I have a very nice home. Thank you Ladies!!Property Manager Responded

December 8, 2018I am giving them an A from me for friendly eager and helpful services. I received complimentary calls to make sure I was satisfied with any maintenance work performed. This is great communication. I would recommend them to a friend. Great management.Property Manager Responded

Would not recommend
August 27, 2018I have been with oak park for several years and though they have went through several property managers, the one that is in charge now is horrible and is not people friendly at all. She can be very rude and nasty and will try to sobatge you any chance she gets. I for one have witnessed this first hand. My lease has come up several times to where I would start paying month to month until I signed a new lease. During the time of me paying month to month I would only have a fee along with me bill. ...Now that I have decided to move out, the property manager decided to up my rent on my recent bill and is blaming it on company policy. Even when bringing it to her attention and trying to explain why it is unfair because I am trying to move, she just says “oh well”. She has tried to be sketchy about my bills before, when there are extra charges on your bill they will make it very confusing and hard to figure out where the extra charges are coming from. One incident for example is they come to replace a mini blind back in January. Then come the month of June is when they put a charge for the mini blinds on the bill. It’s like they have to pick different things to charge you extra for and it doesn’t make since. If you want a peace of mind and not your money messed with every month when it’s time to pay rent I wouldn’t recommend. The property may seem nice but once you move in you’ll realize everything is being “fixed” when some stuff should just be replaced and brand new.Property Manager Responded
August 28, 2018Dear Valued Resident, I am glad that we have had you for several years. I am sorry that there seems to be some misunderstanding as it pertains to your monthly bill, so I hope I can help explain these policies stated in your lease. When a lease expires, your personal rent may or may not be at the current market rent. If the rent has not increased or decreased during your lease term, then you would only accrue the Month to Month fee and no other change. If rent has changed while you were locked into your lease, you would then be bumped to that price upon your lease expiring and have the MTM until you renew your lease. It is also stated in the lease that we will charge for replacing damaged property including mini blinds. We hope that you understand that these are clearly stated policies and you can very easily obtain another lease copy from the office if you have misplaced yours, so that you are aware of any possibly changes to your monthly bill. We feel that our policies are ...transparent to avoid hidden fees or confusion. If you have any further questions, please give us a call during regular office hours and we will be happy to further assist you. Respectfully, Management

Spacious for price
November 16, 2017I would highly recommend Oak Park and any locations from Research Properties, as we viewed many during our search. They have two that are basically the same place like right around the corner and same company so I wanted to review both. They are great and we have had zero complaints during our stay.Review from Apartments.com
