Great place to live!
July 28, 2020I loved living at Paramount Apartments and only moved out because I had to leave for work. Nita, the property manager, is so kind and was always so helpful every time I needed anything! Any repairs I needed fixed were done very quickly. My neighbors were all very friendly and the building itself has some really cool historic features. The location of the apartment is also amazing as it is close to downtown, Moda Center, and east Portland. Access to transit is great from this apartment.Property Manager Responded

I really liked living at the Paramount 253 North Broadway Location
January 15, 2020I liked living a the Paramount Apts. The staff was awesome. The Landlord, Nita and the Maintenance man, Jovanni were very responsive to whatever I needed. In my opinion they went over and beyond the call of duty when I needed help with any thing. They made my stay there pleasant and I would recommend living there to anyone. I did have some issues, the building is not new, but it is kept well and it is maintained. It's also located very near the bus line, train, and bus car/trolley. I could get ...most anywhere from that location within a reasonable amount of time and within a short walking distance. Very close to downtown where lots of restaurants and shopping are.Property Manager Responded

WOULD MOVE BACK!
January 30, 2018I lived in a 1 bedroom in this building for over a year and a half and was so sad to leave. The building is an older 1920’s bricker with LOADS of charm. French doors, wood floors, claw foot tubs, and even vintage telephones that actually work as your callbox!! I had new windows in all my units, new washers/dryers in a clean community area with vending machines, and all hallways/carpets were cleaned weekly. Besides the amazing centralized location, the best thing about living in this apartment is ...the community. The building is quiet and friendly, and this culture is strong throughout the building because of two people, Nita (property manager) and Anthony (maintainence manager). I move VERY often and have lived all over the country, and I can honestly say, they were without a doubt the kindest staff at any apartment building I’ve ever lived in. They are understanding, welcoming, and respectful to all tenants. It’s like having the ultimate neighbors that will drop whatever their doing if you need a hand. Thank you Paramount! I miss it there already!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Great Onsite Management and Great Neighbors
January 23, 2018My wife and I have lived at the Paramount for over three years. In that time we have learned a few things about the building. The bones of the building are beautiful! Our one bedroom has hardwood floors throughout and has been well maintained over the years. You can’t beat all of the original woodwork/ trim throughout as well. The On-Site Property Manager Nita has been a dream the entire time we have lived here. She is always very receptive to the tenants needs and takes everyone concerns into ...account. She always plants fresh flowers in the garden boxes in the spring and does a bit of holiday decoration in the winter too! She has pushed to better the building in the time we have lived here including getting the onsite washers and dryers upgraded to brand-new debit card reader machines as well as has a killer recycling program going too! The onsite Property Maintenance Manager Ant is awesome too! If you put in a service request (like a leaking faucet) he is there like that day if not the next. He always keeps the building looking fresh too. Living in Portland is not cheep (as most know), but the effort that the Onsite Management team puts into this place is next to none. I highly recommend you check it out! ~WoodyRead MoreReview from Apartments.com
Place to avoid
January 21, 2018The apartments themselves are small, and could use some updating to deal with the constant noise of the freeway and the draftiness. For the price tag I don't personally believe they are worth it. Additionally, the building manager and the management company made me feel incredibly unsafe through actions which apparently this website won't let me write about. I wouldn't live here again, and I'd recommend that you don't either.Review from Apartments.com
Paramount living experience
January 4, 2018The Paramount is a nice place to live and conveniently located. It has a lovely vintage charm to it and has been well maintained. It was built in 1923 and has the original elevator! I love that it is within walking distance to the Max, as well as numerous buslines and local conveniences. It is well maintained by the amazing property manager, Nita. She is honestly the most competent and friendly property manager I have ever dealt with. She is always a pleasure to interact with and clearly ...strives to make sure her tenants are happy and well cared for. If an issue ever comes up, she is on top of it right away. I appreciate how she takes care of the grounds and maintains a nice garden out front for all to enjoy. Anthony does a good job at repairs and is easy to communicate with. They are very respectful about scheduling maintenance so it works with your schedule. The area has really grown in the 6 years that I have lived in it. I am so grateful there is now Ace Hardware, Pine State Biscuits, GEM Bakery and Creo Chocolates!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
mmm... It's not a bad place to live.
October 21, 2015Carpets need a really good cleaning, the back stairs also need a good cleaning, the laundry machines do not feel clean and there is an overall smell--sometimes like wet dog--that doesn't smell good. You can hear many things through the walls/ceiling and management leaves it up to you to have your fellow tenants adhere to lease policy, that I do not like. Not a bad place to live especially if you have a car.Review from Apartments.com
The Paramount
September 4, 2015The Paramount has a very classic feel to it, with its claw foot tubs and French doors. My girlfriend fell in love with the charm right away. The property manager is very freindly and quick to address any issues. Overall, the location and classic feel cannot be beat.Review from Apartments.com
