  • Horrible Management and Ownership

    The management of this building is awful. They charge luxury prices and give dollar store performance. The lock on the front door has been broken for 6 months. Because of this, the building is unsecured and accessible to anyone. Management is aware of this and refuses to do anything about it. Management is completely unresponsive to the concerns of the tenants. The heat is broken in the gym, so the temperature reaches 40-50 degrees on a cold day. The gym is also filthy and looks like it is ...
    cleaned once every few months. One of the pole lights in front of the building has been laying on its side with live electrical wires exposed for about 6 months now. I can only imagine the terrible impression this gives to potential renters. Washers and dryers are frequently broken. The private equity, absentee building owners (located in CA) are a major problem too. They are cheap and refuse to spend the money necessary to fix what is wrong with the building. The owners have gone through 3 management companies in the last 4 years, and the management companies have described the owners as impossible to work with. The fire alert system has been malfunctioning on and off for the last year +. The location of the building is great, but you will regret leasing an apartment due to the complete clown show that is management and ownership, as well as the condition of the building facilities. Do your research. Read the reviews on google. Do not put yourself through the stress of living in this building. The unhappiness of tenants in the building is actually pretty impressive.

    I love this building and the location. However, management by Cushman & Wakefield has been very poor. Right now, there isn't even a management team for the building...the most we have in terms of management is an unresponsive AI Robot named Ellie. The maintenance team puts a lot of effort into this building - with little support from Cushman & Wakefield. Would love to see C&W devote attention and resources to the building. Simple investments, such as getting building's window's washed have not ...

    The resident experience is awful here. Lots of problems in the building. No AC in the gym or laundry room. Staff from the management company are not on site consistently. Residents seem to be very disgruntled in general. The amenities, service, and resident experience do not match the high monetary cost of living here. On the positive side, the neighborhood and location are fantastic.

    Ac has been broken 3 days during the heatwave of the decade. Terrible communication throughout our stay but this is the worst. Fine apartment units but very questionable management.

  • You Will Regret Signing a Lease

    The air conditioning is currently out throughout all 75+ units of the building during the worst heat wave of the year and has been broken for 4 days. The temperature is literally 85-90 degrees in the units. Building management has not been onsite on Saturday or Sunday to address these concerns (they aren't onsite on weekends or holidays) and are off enjoying their weekend. Given the 100+ degree temperatures outside, this is a situation where the management team should have been onsite finding a ...

    We just recently moved into the Park Cheesman Apartments. We love our new place. It is very quiet here. You cannot hear any of your neighbors between the walls or floors (they are concrete). The building vibe is laid back and relaxed, and not too busy. And, the best part, you can walk out the back door right into Cheesman Park without having to take your pup onto the street!

    Really enjoy this property. Even though it’s an older building with some older systems, it’s got direct access to Cheesman and pet friendly. View from the 10th floor is phenomenal. Maintenance is very helpful.

    My biggest complaints are that the AC/heat in the gym has been broken for several months and the washers/dryers in the laundry room need to be deep cleaned (including the dryer vent ducts) and then cleaned regularly. The washers smell moldy and are usually full of other people's dog/cat hair. The dryers rarely dry clothes all the way and always leave them covered in lint.
