Decent first apartment
February 28, 2023This is my first apartment and it has been a decent experience so far, but I wouldn't choose to live here long term. One of my biggest hang ups about this place is that there's no W/D hookups and you have to pay for laundry on site. You also have to pay for a key to access the tiny workout space after hours (which the clubhouse is hardly ever open when it claims to be). You also have to pay for water and trash, even though its not valet trash. Expect to pay a lot for electric. The neighbors are ...often noisy and there's usually car alarms going off in the parking lot. But I like this place because I feel safe most of the time (given the area its in) and the appliances are nice and its a good amount of space for 1BD. Maintenance is timely and the office staff is nice. If you need an apartment for a short period of time, this'll do the trick.Property Manager Responded

Beware of the incompetence of the Management staff!!!!
June 30, 2022I currently live on this property unfortunately, The apartments are poorly kept, the maintenance/property management seems to lack knowledge in the field. When you report an issue, the generic response is laughable, the problem is still there and no one addresses the problem. Work orders are never completed in a timely manner, God forbid you have to contact the emergency maintenance, he had no idea how to handle an emergent issue, everything was "What do you want me to do about it" The property ...manager was even more clueless and the maintenance supervisor lied on multiple occasion, Please move any where else this property will get your money and that the last you will hear from them. Mold is a serious matter but to the management team here you just get placed in line or you get excuses. Do Not be fooled by Vanessa the Property Manager or Brandi the leasing manager, and Anthony the Maintenance supervisor, not sure how he even got the position.Property Manager Responded

Friendly Staff and Recent Renovations
March 27, 2020I lived in a three-bedroom townhouse for two years and had a very pleasant experience. The landlord and office staff are friendly and easy to contact. Our townhouse was newly renovated, so there were new toilets, sinks, washer and dryer, carpets, paint, etc. There were several recent upgrades on the outside this year: new paint and address signs, newly constructed wooden stairs, and even new windows! Another reviewer mentioned that the water gets shut off often... that happened frequently for a ...few months, but they have not had to shut off the water since April of 2019 (almost a year now). There are a lot of restaurants and shopping along 38th street that are close by, but the interstate acts as a good barrier from some of the not-so-nice neighborhoods farther east on 38th street. In my opinion, this property is definitely on the upswing!Property Manager Responded

Terrible apartment
November 20, 2018Terrible ! The office manger is rude she doesn’t care about the residents once they are move in and have signed the lease. The water constantly is shut off due maintenance Issues which is always a inconvenience! You put in work orders it takes months for them to come out and fix the issue . I moved in to a renovated apartment and they said everything was new , the stove barely works the dishwasher absolutely does not work and the bath fitter they put in the tub is not even sealed. I would not ...recommend these apartment to my worse enemy ! The need to lower rent for the cheap renovations.Property Manager Responded

Great Place!
August 15, 2018I recently moved to Indiana from out of state. The staff was welcoming and the environment provided a comfortable living during my time there. I layout offered enough space for me to operate a home business office. There are not too many apartments that offer a 2 bed, 2 bath and FULL washer/dryer. The maintenance and front office team was always attentive to my needs and requests in a timely fashion. I would recommend this place to anyone.Property Manager Responded

Excited for the changes

Finally it seems as if there is a team that cares about this place. The newly renovated apartments are beautiful and it is nice that they are painting the outside and putting on new roofs. Love It!!
February 2, 2017Been at Bayhead since 2013. It was only my second apartment after moving out of my parents home and I haven't wanted to leave! I first moved into an awesome one bedroom on the third floor with a lake view. I loved it and all the windows. Really loved the natural light. I now live in a two bedroom townhome with so much extra space. And now I have a washer and dryer (for free!) so that means no more quarters. Upgraded Apartments!
January 24, 2017My Mother and I have been searching all over the area for a two bedroom apartment. Nothing compares to Bayhead! We fell in love with their updated homes right away and can't wait to be residents soon! Our apartment will have Brand New wood plank flooring, carpet in the bedrooms, walnut finished cabinets w/ hardware and countertops, black appliances, modern light fixtures, full-size washer dryer and two-tone paint throughout! Awesome
September 4, 2015I live in a three bedroom town home with my mom and brother. After a horrible break up with my daughter's father and having to be uprooted with basically no where to go, my mother and I came across Bay Head Village Apartments. Now I have heard good things and bad things about this place but I wanted to come to my own conclusion. Upon seeing the town home I automatically fell in love it was spacious and I knew that I was going to need a little help with paying rent so my mom and brother both ...agreed to be on the lease and help me pay for it. I feel like it was a new start for me and my daughter also and I have been in love with the property and staff and hopefully after our year lease I can be moved into a smaller two bed room for just me and my baby. On the Upside
July 20, 2015Great location. Near highways for easy commutes. The apartment is a nice size, 2bd-2ba, for a small family. All appliances are provided at no extra cost.
