Renters Reviews and Ratings
I wish I never moved there
March 22, 2024The staff members are nice but the apartment itself wasn't. I had many problems with it. First my sink overfilled twice due to a clog pipe. Apparently, the plumber didn't do their job correctly and it all overflowed into my sink because the pipe went through my kitchen last. I finally got it fixed but my apartment smelled like a sewer for a few day and I had to throw a few things in my kitchen out. Three other units and I couldn't use any water till it got fixed the next day. Then my heating ...bills are really high. Heat must be escaping somewhere but when I put in a maintenance request, they didn't even come in a talk to me or check the inside of my apartment. They just said everything was working and closed the ticket. There is only 3 washers and dryers for each building so doing launder during the weekend can be a pain. I don't know why they can't put more in. I would rent somewhere else.Property Manager Responded

Pretty Great So Far
December 4, 2022I've lived here for almost a year and I don't have plans to move anytime soon. We moved into a newly upgraded unit and the kitchen and bathroom are so nice (plus a dishwasher that we love). The apartment itself is a good size for both of us and we don't have any complaints (okay so we have one, we wish the dining room area was a little bit bigger but we make it work) Our neighbors are quite, our first floor patio is nice and we can spread out into the yard if we have guests, this apartment is ...located next to almost everything, and overall it's a nice and quite place to live. The mailroom is also secure so I never have to worry about lost packages. Plus there's a pool! I only used it a few times in the summer but it's a nice place to relax. They also just redid the laundry rooms in each unit so those are nice. If you every need anything fixed in the apartment, the maintenance staff are quick to respond and are the nicest people ever. I will say it takes a second for the office staff to respond sometimes so be aware of that. Overall, I've lived in some pretty terrible places before so this place is a breath of fresh air.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Do not live here
February 16, 2022The office staff is the absolute worst I have come across. They are rigid and refuse to work with tenants on issues that other complexes have never had issues with before, I.E. inspection scheduling, timely communication, maintenance timelines. It is impossible to get a hold of them (average initial email response time for us has been at least 5 days). Don't waste your time attempting to call the office either. Every time you call, they send you to voicemail quicker. This is essential when their ...current policy is that you need to schedule an appt to even step foot into the office. The policy isn't the issue...it's the complete lack of timely communication between staff and tenants. When you call them on it, they are rude and brush you off. Every month the amount for rent has been wrong and it takes multiple calls and emails to get them to address issues before the next month rolls around. Every issue is like pulling teeth with them. You get what you pay for here. I'd highly recommend anywhere else.Property Manager Responded

Don't waste your time or money
September 14, 2021This place used to be a nice place to live, but now the new people moving in have ruined it. People leave trash bags in the hallway, place reeks of weed mainly on the weekends, people throw loud parties and their visitors take up all the parking spots, if you pull in the lot on the weekends watch out as illegally parked cars take up a lane to pull in so you're probably going to get hit if someone is coming out as everyone feels the need to drive 30. This is a dog friendly place, which means watch ...where you're stepping in the grass because people don't pick up after their dogs. This place is not worth what the rent is, and they keep raising it for worse and worse service. Rent somewhere else.Property Manager Responded

Overpriced and poor apartments
March 5, 2017Do not sign a lease at ridgeview. The lease states that the landlord is not responsible for maintaining the unit. When there's a draft/ crack in the wall causing flooding and a high electric bill, they do not have to fix the issues and you cannot get out of the contract due to the issues. The electric bill is $250-500 month even with very minimal electric use. It is baseboard electric heating with old fashion thermostats that do not work. Your heat will stay on all day until you turn it off. The ...parking lot is unsafe. I get approached by bums and my car got keyed. Dishwasher does not work well so I have to hand wash my dishes. Laundry room dryers do not work at all. Loud freight train next to complex is sure to wake you up all night. Airport isn't as loud as the train. Office management is never on your side when there's an issue. They get defensive and are not helpful. The maintenance guys are not friendly and I do not like them in my apartment. This is the worse apartment I have ever lived in. Do not rent here.Property Manager Responded
