Situated on the shores of Lake Michigan, residents of Grant Park apartments couldn't ask for a better home location. In addition to having a nearby beach, the golf course, walking trail and group sport playing fields can keep a Milwaukee apartment resident outdoors for several hours. Plenty of parking is available in this almost 375 acre park where a pretty stream runs through it. Team sports possibilities include soccer and softball with several fields available, and it's a great place to play golf, tennis or hike on one of the trails. The trailhead of the Seven Bridges Hiking Trail starts at Grant Park, and you can get to the park (and through it) on the Oak Leaf Recreational Trail from your Milwaukee apartments. The park has both wooded and cleared land areas for you to get out and enjoy nature. You can enjoy a picnic lunch brought from your Grant Park apartment at one of the twelve picnic areas (and three can be reserved) before you head to the beach. In the middle of the park there are stone steps to the lake and at the south end is a beach house, playground and concessions stand. Also at the south part is a remarkable sculpture garden that is pleasing to the eye. In the center of the park is Wulff Lodge, a secluded bungalow that is available for rent for meetings and events for up to 25 people. Whether you go by yourself or with friends from your Grant Park apartments, be sure to give yourself enough time to get out and see this super Milwaukee park.
