RUN! STAY FAR AWAY!!
August 1, 2021If I could could give negative stars, I would!! Sure it looks nice on the outside, but it all ends there! They charge you for having dead plants on your balcony so eager to get your money! But if you have a problem like no hot water, ants, noise complaints, broken toilet etc they won’t even care. It will take them a couple of weeks-months for them to actually fix any issues. They can’t even take the 15 seconds necessary to notify you of a package you have at the office. Plus they let anyone and ...everyone park here. Friends, neighbors, people shopping, people at the doctors office, it’s a free for all, so if you pay rent and actually live here you can never find parking. You can tell because we all have parking permits to park here but there are at least 4 cars in front of my building everyday without a permit and management just lets them be. Save yourself the headache now and just move on don’t even give this place a second thought!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Move somewhere else if you can.
December 22, 2020First of all, when it says 2 bedroom 1.5 bathroom is NOT 1.5 bathroom It's actually 1 bathroom. It's just cause the toilet and sink is in one then you open a door to get to the tub and another sink. As said in some of the reviews, the parking still sucks. There's barely any visitor parking available which I had to park at because I got a new car but it wasn't under my name. One time there was none at all so I had to go sleep over at one of my relatives with my children. It makes me not want to go ...anywhere or else I'll lose my parking spot fast. Seems like they always hire new office workers. They always do something that involves giving all the tenants a notice to enter your apartment, and it gets annoying. But due to covid going on, they stopped unless you request for maintenance. Yes, the crime rate over here is really bad. You would always see cop cars around. One time there were like 10 cop cars in front of my building because they were telling someone in the building next to me to come out. Seems like they don't really do good background checks on new tenants cause I had a neighbor under me that I know did drugs that always had someone knocking at their door or waiting out their door even though if they are not home. Sometime I come home with my kids and there's someone laying or sitting at the stairs where we have to walk up and pass them in order to get to our apartment. It gets kind of scary seeing someone laying there and having to walk pass them with my kids. I'm glad I'm moving out after 4 years because I couldn't afford to go anywhere yet. I would never recommend this place to anyone I know. It's not worth it, plus they raised the rent for new tenants pretty high.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
If you have ANY other choice take it
February 29, 2016My mom lives in these apartments and they are horrific. 1. NO PARKING ANY WHERE, unless you own 1 car registered only in your name and never have any visitors. And never let your visitors park in a spot or within 30 minutes they'll be towed by there hired predatory towing company. 2. Only 1 way in and out of the whole complex, this brilliant "solution" came about after someone was murdered right out in the open at the complex. 3. Don't expect help or courtesy or understanding or humane ...treatment from the office people. I can't even call them staff because they don't actually work. Just try picking up a package if you work regular hours like 8-5, you'll never get it from the clutches of the never working 'office' people. 4. They have tons of ridiculous rules that seem to only cause decent residents grief and most certainly don't keep out the or deter the bad element. For example you're not allowed to have a window air conditioner.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Just don't ...
July 24, 2015Where to start? A front office staff that would rather make excuses than try to help, and then grumble when they have to help you with anything. I go back to office staff later and they hang "the time I helped you" over my head like a bad grudge. The neighbors aren't very friendly, their kids run around unsupervised in the grass areas and parking lots. They almost get hit playing in the road, and if you tell them to get out of the road they throw dirt and mud at your car, any doors to your ...apartment, and my dog. Speaking of which, I keep control of my dog when we go outside and I clean up after it, not everyone else does. I try to bring up issues with neighbors myself in a polite manner and all I get are grudge matches on how I'm probably not perfect either. There is never enough parking, I've had to ask other people to stop parking in the spot that I pay for. They post notices to not park during construction in certain areas, but don't have visitor parking to move to. Any problems or damage we have reported to the office has been inspected, but rarely, if ever, acted upon. I'm always worried I left a door or window unlocked in the apartment or my car due to the high crime rate. We are even afraid to take a vacation for fear our apartment will be broken into.My husband and I would move elsewhere if we could afford to, but as things stand we can't. As soon as we are over our financial problems of the present, we are o-u-t without so much as a glance back.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Rockwood Gardens Community
October 16, 2014I contacted the complex and was treated very warmly by the agent I spoke with. I have visited the site before and felt it would be a great place to live. Unfortunately at this time, I do not qualify for low income residency so I will have to postpone my intention to move there.Review from Apartments.com
