Horrible place to live
July 13, 2022The management barely responds, there are issues of rodents, the laundry room is unusable, heating is poor, there is no option of getting immediate assistance, overall, very bad experience staying here. I would not recommend it one percentReview from Apartments.com
Oasis in the City
May 11, 2022I love this little Apt Community here, so will defend it. It is just nice, with large and brightly lit apartments, peaceful, great mix of neighbors and nobody bothers anybody, conveniently located close to everything, and safe. Overall, management is nice and they do listen, even if they cannot accommodate all your needs, they do try. I think perhaps people are more susceptible to some of the other complaints the closer to the road and the ground floor they are. Note all Apts are walk-up, but ...the ample size of the units and proximity to everything works so well for me. I've lived in many major cities from London-NY-Honolulu, yet still kinda love this little place ?Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Cockroaches everywhere, dirty water
March 25, 2022The apartment is pretty old but that's ok as the rent is relatively low. The water pipeline is not well-maintained and the tap water is often brown and rusty. Another issue is that there're plenty of cockroaches, literally everywhere. I lived there for one year and two months and I finally gave up the bug-killing campaign and moved out. It has been almost half a year since then and I still have not received my security deposit refund though I wrote several demand letters. Though the security ...deposit is not big money, I just hate the feeling of be offended for no reason.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Live Elsewhere!!
October 24, 2021The location of the property is nice, that is the sole good thing about living here. Everything else is terrible. To start, none of the windows fit, so there is absolutely no noise insulation, it sounds like you are laying on the street. You can hear every car, conversation, and construction hammer very clearly all day and night. Given the windows don't fit, there is no regular insulation either. Though they claim heat is included in the lease, they refuse to turn on heat despite temperatures ...well in the 40s. Unless you are comfortable in a freezing apartment, look elsewhere. The company that runs the place could not care less about residents' concerns. The leasing office is off-site, so it's nearly impossible to even contact them with the wide array of complaints you are sure to have. They use a call service which I do not believe they have followed up on a single time. If you call and actually get through, they'll pretend not to know anything about the buildings their company owns. The on-site washing and drying room is filthy. The majority of other residents I talk to use off-site washing because they cannot stand to go down there. Using the onsite washers feels like my clothes get dirtier. The washroom is often flooded so bring waterproof boots if you do plan to use it. Roaches are plentiful throughout all of the buildings and courtyard, this is probably in no way helped by their trash collection system that involves just throwing bags into the basement. No recycling. There is no central A/C, you'll need a window unit. Every time you cook the fire alarm will go off, every time. The toilets are toddler-sized. There is no elevator/not ADA accessible. The lighting fixtures cause bulbs to burn out in like a month. The price is low, but the quality is far lower.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Extremely Loud
May 17, 2021There has been construction going on since December 2020 and I have been able to get ZERO sleep. I am a student and they work at all hours of the day, sometimes from 7:00AM to late in the evening. I have tried calling the apartments to no avail. I have tried calling the construction company making the noise and they told me that they would be finished within a month. Guess what? Within one month, another construction company seems to have taken over and is pounding away. I live on the top floor ...and literally I can hear everything they are doing as if they are working right next to me even with ear plugs on. If they gave me the funding, I would move away but I have to literally sleep in my walk in closet because it's so loud. I have no idea when they will be done with construction but they are really doing a number on students and those who work jobs who are trying to get quality sleep in the area.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Great Place.
August 30, 2018Great place. Pipes croak a bit during the winter. No mice at all as mentioned in previous review. Extremely cheap, compared to surroundings. Another disadvantage is the washer and dryer are in the basement as well as trash is in basement as well. Close to Hopkins and safe area.Review from Apartments.com
