Decent apartment for affordable price
February 6, 2023Maintained well, and a responsive management '' Laundromat is the only cons as they only have 1 washer/dryer for 12 apartments however it was available during my first 3 visitsReview from Apartments.com
Poor communication
July 16, 2021My husband and I lived at Sandy Creek apartments for a year. The apartment itself was adequate. The walls are pretty thin, but that's to be expected of an apartment complex. The water bill is split by all of the tenants in the building, so it's pretty high. The washer and dryer do not consistently work so be ready to use the laundromat down the road. Also, there is only one washer and dryer for the entire building. At first, Ericka was extremely easy to get a hold of and as the months went on ...she never returned our calls or emails. I emailed her 11 times over the year with not one response from her. I also called the office several times to get something resolved. Ericka was never available and the people on the other line said they would leave a message for her to call us back. Unfortunately, she never did. There is a clear problem with communication here. Lobos also sent letters to all the tenants regarding parking, snow removal, etc.. We were never provided parking spots, the lines in the parking lot were completely faded, and there were several abandoned vehicles in the lot. Toward the end of our lease, I called again to try to get something resolved. Ron took my call and was incredibly rude. I was taken aback by the way he talked to me, telling me to "take some responsibility" for a problem I've tried to handle by phone and email for 11 months with no response. Shortly after this phone call, they started recording their calls. I wish they were recording the call prior to this because no one should have to be talked to like this, especially a tenant that paid rent on time every month. We were sent a very vague checkout procedure and followed everything to a T. We left the apartment significantly cleaner than we found it and somehow still got charged fees for items that really couldn't be fought (i.e. cleaning the kitchen floor which I steamed cleaned thoroughly before we left , etc.). Overall, the apartment building itself was fine to live in for the year. It's in a great location and the tenants in my building were friendly. The communication by the property manager was horrible, although I should mention was pleasant to talk with when we signed our lease. Ron was extremely rude and I can't believe the way he spoke to me on the phone. It was far from professional. Be prepared to lose most of your security deposit for made up reasons.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Love this apartment!
June 15, 2017I recently moved into a 1 bedroom unit and I absolutely love it. Neighborhood is quiet and close to the T. Kitchen has been completely renovated and includes new appliances. Rent prices are very fair for the area. Leasing manager Ericka is very easy to work with and quickly responds to any questions.Review from Apartments.com
