Great Place to Live!!!
August 19, 2021Apartments are just as nice as they look in pictures if not nicer. Great location and Management is very nice as well.Review from Apartments.com
Excellent
August 19, 2021Great place to live, quite area but still within 10 minutes of any major shopping you would need to do. Plenty of parking and nice walking trail around buildings. Apartments are really nice, stainless steel appliances are great, open floor plan and great sized bedrooms. My wife and I moved into our unit without seeing it until we showed up with our moving truck from Florida… and was even more impressive in person.Review from Apartments.com
Do not recommend
December 29, 2020I contemplated not leaving this review, but I could not in good conscience let someone else move into this community and not warn them about how miserable a situation they would be walking into. Let me start off by saying that my wife and I absolutely loved the apartment and the community. It had everything we were looking for and since we were moving back home from the DC metropolitan area the prices seemed very reasonable to us. We planned to stay for at least 2 years and we're very excited ...about new our home. My first warning sign should have been when I received a call from the owner questioning the relationship and connection I had to my wife. After I told him we were married and not sisters he said he was "cool with it" but just wanted to know. Since that is highly unethical and also not a question a business owner/company can or should ask you in the state of PA, I was disgusted but we loved the apartment and these types of questions are unfortunately something you grow accustomed to. I will say that besides the list of issues that still needed to be fixed when we moved in, among them a dent in the brand new fridge, no heat, and metal left inside an outlet causing me to get shocked, for the first month we absolutely loved living there. Then October 2019 rolled around and the neighbors above us moved in. We woke up to our fire alarm going off at 5 am as the water was pouring out of the alarm and through several of our outlets. I repeatedly called the owner of the property and after he could not be reached since there is no emergency maintenance team, we finally called the fire department. The water damage went from the above apartment through ours and down to the tenant below us. Over the course of a month, we had walls ripped out, industrial fans running 24/7, lights replaced, and everything repainted all while my wife was, unfortunately, working from home. The issues with the above neighbor continued to get worse. My wife and I went up several times to ask that they please not play loud music all hours of the night, or to please not vacuum in the middle of the night as we were trying to sleep for work the next day. We finally got the owner involved after 2 months of trying to handle the situation on our own. He did little to nothing to help us and also refused to let us break our lease though he had let others break their lease. It was by far our worst apartment living experience we have ever had.Property Manager Responded
January 20, 2021Summit Living Luxury Flats appreciates Tenant feedback. It allows us to self critique and improve our processes. To address the individual comments: Asking the Tenant/family structure is for legal reasons. Leasing documents contain legal entities, those differ when married, or un-married. Lease structure is the use of the question. We are an Equal Housing Provider! Being the very FIRST occupant of these newly built flats, some issues can and do arise...temporary loss of heat, a defective receptacle, and a miniscule dent in the SS refrigerator, all were timely serviced with minimal inconvenience. Working out minor service issues is common with new construction. Water damage occurred when the Tenant above had an accident. Accidents occur! We promptly repaired the damage. Cause of this was not that of Summit Living. It is unfortunate this Tenant has such animosity toward Summit. We built a fabulous community that receives praise from most, if not all residents. They call this HOME ...and we do everything possible to keep it that way.

Great luxury apartments
April 8, 2020This is my first time living in an apartment complex and from reading the exhausting reviews back to back on old falling apart apartments and bad management I must say that I've picked a great place. These apartments are new and very nice. Steve the management guy is a breeze to work with, he is patient, understanding and just great spirits everytime you see him. He is the property manager that everyone is happy to see and speak to. Why pay for old apartments when you can pay for these luxury ...apartments with great management? Dont miss out!!Property Manager Responded
