    The Haas building is a gem in downtown Los Angeles. First the building itself has a beautiful entryway from the original construction in 2015, the lobby itself has bee redone since we moved in and has a doorman 24/7 which is really comforting for this part of the city, especially late at night. Speaking of that, there is neighborhood security that run around on bikes as well. The elevators are fast, and the hallways are beautiful marble floors and have colored lights. The doors are gigantic and ...
    bright wood. We live in a 1 bedroom. The apartments have an industrial beauty to them. The floors are colored polished concrete, one wall is raw industrial concrete, another is a pillar of brick with three gigantic windows overlooking 7th and Broadway, the rest is drywall, but your eye is instantly drawn to the exposed brick and concrete. The windows open halfway and are amazing on winter days, they also have dark wood shade blinds and can make the apartment extremely dark during the day if you close them all the way. The three doors in the apartment are dark wood and frosted glass in the middle. The kitchen is right off the living room along the hallway wall, all dark wood, and cabinets that open towards the ceiling and use air pressure to keep open. The shower is between the bedroom and the living room, the walls of these three rooms stop about two feet from the ceiling so the space feels very open. The only two spaces that are completely separated are the part of the bathroom with the toilette and sink, and the walk in closet off the bedroom which is huge and lined with shelves all the way up to the ten foot ceilings. In the bedroom you have the same exposed brick as in the living room. The brick and concrete don't just look amazing, they completely drown out noise from neighbors. I have never heard my neighbors, and I know for a fact one is a musician who practices at home. The only noise you get in the apartment is from the windows, 7th and Broadway can be a noisy intersection, but nothing crazy. With the windows closed and AC running you can't hear a thing. The apartment has two AC units, but they are capable of cooling the entire space as if it was central air, and they are built in through the wall not the window. The sink in the bathroom is a glass bowl and looks great, the bathroom also has a window that can open. The management company treats it's tenants well and I have never had any issues. The neighborhood is exploding with things to do as well.

    Great open space. I love the old flair such as the withered exposed brick in each unit as well as the modern appliances. Unit doesn't, however offer central air nor laundry machines.

    The Haas building is a great building for young adults. The brick wallls, walk-in closet, and free parking spot, is what really sold me. The only complaint that I have is that there are not many amenities. But the staff is great and friendly. It is a small building so everyone knows your name and makes you feel like family.

    Awesome loft space. Haas building is fairly old but recently renovated. Modern contemporary living with flairs of the past. My only complaint would be the absence of in-unit washer/dryer laundry machines. There are coin machines available in the basement but the cost adds up fairly quickly.
