July 13, 2018Lived here for a few years because it was a good location and rent price was fair for what the apt offers. In my time here I've disasters with the piping, rats in the nicely kept landscaping, dog poop all over the walkways and parking lot, mold in the washer/dryers, roach infestations that were not taken seriously, packages going missing from doorsteps, sketchy tenants with all type of visitors coming and going and the worst of all any encounter with the office manager Johnna. She is first and ...foremost rude, refuses to listen, refuses to full read through emails before responding in an accusatory manner and overall a terrible property manager. The Oaks on Aeele
August 5, 2015I have lived at The Oaks for three years. It is a generally quiet community in the lowest crime zip code of Tampa. Rent is very competitively priced for the area. Maintenance is prompt and courteous. Very pet friendly. Charcoal grills set in secluded gardens and a well maintained pool. An on site gym and laundry.Review from Apartments.com

August 3, 2015The great thing about The Oaks is the value you get for your space. It is perfectly located in the middle of South Tampa - two blocks from Dale Mabry and about 3 miles from downtown. The building does not have security but I've lived there for three years and never felt like I was in danger. Neighbors range from young to old, all working people no loud noises or disturbances. The apartments range from price depending on which have/don't have upgrades. But the landscaping and building in general ...is always very well kept. Parking is never an issue. Air conditioning is relatively low due to upgraded windows in units. In the beginning of this post I mentioned it's a good value - what I meant by that is the basics are covered and covered very well.. It's clean, quiet, well kept and in a great location. However, if you're looking for a luxury apartment complex this is not it. The rooms are nice but nothing compared to condos in downtown (if you're looking for something similar). The rooms are priced very well for the location, I've very much enjoyed living here and would highly recommend it. Only negative note - the landlord can be a pain. She is disorganized, dramatic, and manipulative. The maintenance crew is excellent, they always respond to requests immediately and are extremely kind and helpful. If you don't expect much interaction with the landlord then feel confident moving in. But if this is a deal breaker for you, you may want to reconsider.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
