    I think the rent price pays not only for the apartment itself but also the location. You are able to have a small community while also being in the big city, the balance is very nice!

    Everything is good except the elevators which can be unacceptably slow. They also said they were going to establish social groups for things like sports, games etc and then never did. We don't have many community events.

    Living at The Tides has been wonderful! Nestled in a beautiful neighborhood (best in downtown by far) its central location makes daily life a breeze. The staff here are warm and attentive, fostering a genuine sense of community. The shared amenities and the engaging events they organize are an amazing addition too!

    Elevators often non operational. Tenants argue about who can and cannot go on elevators. I once waited 30 mins to get on an elevator only to be told by another tenant I can’t get on the elevator because I had a cart. Management takes a long time to respond delaying the need to fix problems. They have yet to fix my apartment’s puddles of water on the floor. I had been wiping with towels for weeks. They are very much aware. This IS a hazard that they refuse to fix.

    PROS- Beautiful apartment, good maintenance staff, super safe neighborhood, easy access to river walk and lake. CONS-- Units became very dusty very fast, we had an issue with neighbors smoking weed and the smell wafting into multiple apartments, it took almost a year for this to get resolved. M
