September 26, 2019I moved out at the end of June of this year (2019) and I have yet to receive my deposit refund. Every time I call I speak with a lady named Anna who seem to never know anything and keeps telling me that they’re under new management (mind you that they never give the number so I can call). Here it is almost the end of September and that’s been over 2 almost 3 months ago. My next step is to get the news and proper authorities involved. And another thing.. back when I moved in these apartments ...(2017) they were nice. Well the community that is. From day one I had ROACHES in my apartment. I had to do my own “pest control”. Things got better I guess. As time went by my hot water stop working. Either it wouldn’t be hot at all or it would be so hot that it would literally burn you! Keep in mind I’m still having a roach problem. I would hate for company to come over. And let’s talk about how there is ONLY ONE dumpster! That’s supposed to take care of over 200 units. Granted... it’s a big dumpster but it’s not doable for the whole complex. Fast forward... the day I knew I had to move away from these apartments was when my next door neighbor kept having fights and arguments with a person. The police pretty much stayed there too so to say with as much drama they had going on. BIG DEAL BREAKER... a drug dealer moved next me! I knew then I couldn’t live like this! Oh I forgot to tell that my car had got broken into as well. And the apartments was no help. No cameras no nothing. From 2017 till the time I moved out, it got bad and ghetto! The manager (Wanda) before the one they have now did not care about the apartments. Whenever I was having my hot water problem.. her exact words were “I’m not paying that much for the part you need” “we’ll get it done once we find a cheaper part”. Oh ok.. so I’ll just continue to take either cold or too hot showers. Kool. NOT.... Only thing I ever seen her do was ride around in her car smoking cigarettes. Unless new management makes a complete turn around... I DO NOT recommend these apartments. But hey... to each it’s own.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Love it here!
August 6, 2015I have been living in Timber Oaks for about 4 years now and I love it. The management is great. Every time I have called for maintenence issues it has always been resolved within the next day or 2. I have not had a problem with these apartments. The best part is the big open space! I live in a one bedroom and it is quite roomy compared to other apartments i have seen! It's quiet at night, the only complaint i have is maybe more lighting in the parking lots at night. other than that i love it ...here.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
