Dear Urban Communities Residents, Future Residents and Prospects, During these unprecedented times, Urban Communities is taking precautions and making changes to do our part in helping to minimize the spread of COVID-19. Effective immediately we are no longer accepting in-person tours. Virtual tours are available on our websites and other marketing platforms. There are links on our marketing pages which will allow you to apply for one on our apartment homes electronically if you decide you would like to become one of our residents. The entire process can be completed online. Scheduled move-ins and move-outs will happen as scheduled however with modifications. Please call the leasing office prior to your scheduled move-in/out for details. Residents, we are still here for your support. To minimize contact, we ask that work-orders are placed online through the resident portal. If you need assistance accessing your portal, please contact the leasing office via phone. Only urgent/emergent workorders are currently being addressed (ie fridge not working, no hot water, toilet not flushing…etc). Rents can be payed online through the resident portal. Please communicate with us if you are unable to pay your rent. There are various resources we can refer you to. During these times of uncertainty, Urban Communities has taken a No One Becomes Homeless approach. Please, just stay in communication with office staff. Our maintenance staff will continue to disinfect door knobs, laundry rooms, stair rails and other common areas. If you are a resident who is vulnerable to the virus and in need of assistance please do not hesitate to contact the leasing staff at your apartment community. Awful place to live
March 25, 2022We lease an apartment for 6 months knowing the place didn't had good reviews but it turned out to be worst than anyone could describe. Didn't get our mail for a month in two different occasions because the mailbox broke and because the gate to the street broke too but the leasing office wouldn't do anything to get them fix and ask us to figure it out with USPS. No AC for 4 months, the leasing office suggested using a fan.... No one seems to be responsible for this place.Review from Apartments.com
Not safe... you can find better
September 12, 2021The office doesn't respond to emails. They typically mess up paperwork. Currently our dumpsters have been overflowing for about two weeks now. The area is sketchy. Lots of homeless people and drug addicts. At first it wasn't a big deal bc we were gated in but the gate is constantly broken. The walls aren't as thin as people say they are. I never hear my neighbors. But the front 188 side is noisy. Smells like alcohol n urine at night on the front side. They don't fix the washers n dryers so if it ...breaks on your side you hv to go to another side with all your laundry. The community feeds the stray cats so you'll see close to 10-15 large stray cats everywhere. The pool on my side isn't accessible to the tenants. So we don't hv a pool unless we go to another side. And it's all inclusive but your heat/air is connected to your neighbors. So he he turns his heat on... your air will go off.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
I vacated early because it wasn’t safe
May 15, 2020Lived here for 6 months and it was fine at first until the squatters started coming. Being a young woman, I did not feel safe and someone attempted breaking into my apartment with a knife. If you rent here, be aware of your surroundings. Don’t let the price trap you in an unsafe community.Review from Apartments.com
