Biggest and Best Apartment for the Price!
March 12, 2025I have lived here for almost three years and am bummed to be moving. During my apartment search, the Vida was the best price for the most square footage, and that's including a dishwasher, parking, and AC in many units. It's not easy to find in this town anymore. There are shared washer dryer units for each floor, too. You want to know the real amenity of this place? The building manager. He's like the Santa Claus of Colorado BLVD. He is helpful, kind, communicative, and looks out for the ...building. Oh, and I hope you get the chance to try some of his smoked BBQ out back. Out of this world. The landlord Jen and management company is very easy to work with and have had my back when times got rough. The rent, as of March 2025, has only gone up $60, which I find incredible. They're constantly updating apartments and the building itself. I've gotten new kitchen tile and shower tile since living here. It's super close to amazing stores including Trader Joe's, and a local family owned pharmacy, one of the last in Denver. It's right next to Blue Pan, aka best pizza in town. The neighborhood is great for walks and biking. The neighbors themselves are kind, quiet, and keep to themselves. Some of mine of the 4th floor have lived here for years. One secret you NEED to know. The heaters are based off an old-school hot water pipe. Your place will stay warm without the blower on ALL day and keep electric down. My average cost has been under $30. If I could, I would give this place a 10. If you're apartment hunting, this is your sign to pick the Vida. Enjoy your stay!!! I certainly have.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Perfect Location, Great Building Manager
December 19, 2024I have lived here for the last 4 years, and I couldn't have asked for a better location. It has great restaurants, a movie theater, bars, access to the mountains, and access to the city readily available. The building manager Shannon is a really nice guy who sometimes cooks food for the apartment building. He genuinely seems to care about his tenants, and good at getting around to fixing things. All in all, I had a great experience here.Review from Apartments.com
Great Area, Great Management and Great Pricing!
August 17, 2023It has been a fantastic 4.5 years, the building is amazing and all parties have been more than fair in maintenance and management. I certainly appreciate the comfort and affordability this opportunity gave me. Highly recommend.Review from Apartments.com
Great Location and Roomy Apartments
April 30, 2022Vida Apartments offers a lot of space for a decent price and is kept clean and safe by the on site property manager. There are sometimes social activities organized by the property manager and he also does a good job of keeping tenants in the loop regarding building maintenance. The apartments themselves are good sizes and mine has several closets for storage. The location of the apartments is great and there's lots of food and entertainment options within a 10-15 minute walk. Pros: big ...apartment, storage space, mail room behind locked doors, responsive property manager, location Cons: swamp cooler A/CRead MoreReview from Apartments.com
I LOVE living here
March 24, 2022I have lived here for nearly three years and I can see myself staying put for a long time. Why? The amount of floor space you get for the price is uncommon in Denver. The location is right in the middle as you have several shopping districts , museums, and downtown farely close. There are 3 bus lines within 1-2 blocks. I love the kitchen as it is very functional and has stainless steel appliances. My favorite feature are the nearly ceiling to floor windows because I have quite the green ...thumb so it's fun experimenting on what kinds of things I can grow and it turns out to be A LOT! Now the cooling and heating is another perk because it is cheap. I rarely run my wall unit for heat because it always puts out little heat because it's run on a boiler so the only thing I pay is electric to run my motor. It costs about 20.00 more in the summer to run the a.c. so you save a lot of money. This place underwent new management in 2019 and since then we have a manager who really cares about tenants and even hosts tenant bbq's and chili and pumpkin carving contests. He just started a garden plot for tenants who are interested in joining. The care of the building is always being maintained. If I have a need I contact management and my needs have always been attended too. The bedrooms are large enough for a king size bed and there are 2 giant closets in my place. The bathroom has tons of shelves and hot water is paid my management. The building is QUIET and we love it that way so if your like me and you want a place that's affordable, spacious, friendly and understanding, with lots of sunshine and a kind community then welcome home! P.S.-. The owner of the building I can say nothing bad. She has always been accommodating and understanding to those who follow the rules and regulations.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Disgusting and over priced
March 24, 2019I was there last week visiting my son from out of state and I was horrified. The pictures on here must have been from when the first opened very misleading. When you walk in, the hallways are very dirty, a bad smell and the elevator is very tiny. The inside of the apartment does not have new appliances and the so called carpet on the floor is a joke. It’s squares of carpet. The heat and air conditioner is maintained by the front office not in the apartments. But what was the grosses thing I saw ...that made me sick to my stomach was we went out back to walk his dog and a young girl was spitting loogies out of the top floor window and my sons response was they do that all the time. Oh and the back of the apartment looks like homeless people live there. The price for this apartment made my heart skip a beat . This building should be condemned and I do plan on writing a letter to the city about the environmental of this building. To pay this much money for a place to live that looks worse than some of the places homeless people live in is unacceptable. You should be ashamed of yourself as property ownewers.Property Manager Responded
March 25, 2019I am so sorry to hear of this experience and this abnormal condition of the building during your visit. A few irregular instances happened at the same time that delayed our trash service and cleaning service, the huge snow storm being one. The building is old, but our apartments/building have been renovated, is spacious, clean and offered at a very competitive price. Each apartment is able to control the heat/AC. We are very attentive to any maintenance requests as well, so please call us with any issues. (We can help with the heat/AC controls for example)

Cheap at a Great Location
August 19, 2015With this building, you get what you pay for. Very affordable apartments but the building isn't very clean. If you don't mind high class hallways, then you'll enjoy friendly neighbors and a very helpful staff. The caretaker is friendly and will take care of problems quickly. No issues with the landlord who is also very friendly. The location is amazing, close to the noise of City Park and Colorado Blvd, close to the quiet charm of 12th avenue with a great elementary school and charming coffee ...shoppe. Highly recommend!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
