Though Barton Springs Pool may get most of the attention when it comes to Austin pools, another pool has been getting the attention of Austinites for years, thanks to a loyal fan following and a rich history. Deep Eddy is the oldest swimming pool in Texas, and has been a favorite spot for folks from Austin apartments for generations, helping them to escape the Texas heat, thanks both the cool water of the pool, and the large trees that flank it on several sides.
