The French always believed in opulent eats and gorgeous locales, but where can a hungry Cincinnati apartment-ite go if he's searching for such things in his own home town? With its beautiful collection of antiques, its old time feel, and romantic atmosphere, Grand Finale is the spot for your upscale dining needs, and has been called one of the most romantic spots in the city by Citysearch. Numerous sources have also declared its food as the best, praising things as varied as their steaks, desserts, brunch, chicken and much, much more. With all this praise flying around, don't you want to experience a bit for yourself? It's one trip you won't soon regret, with some of the finest dining in the city as this location, which was formally a Victorian home. A meal at Grand Finale consists of more than just your typical fair. You discover tastes here you might not find anywhere else in the city. Start your meal off with warm artichoke fritters, scallops and wild mushrooms, sesame crusted ahi tuna, or chicken ginger sticks, or try their French market onion soup, or their succulent esgargots. Moving on to the main courses, you have a number of delicious options, starting with their delicious selection of steaks, which you can get in filet mignon or sirloin, and served with your choice of peppercorn cognac sauce, black peppercorns, or their famous Bernaise sauce. You could also try one of their delicious chicken options, including ginger chicken, chicken marinated in soy, Sherry, and honey and grilled with sweet ginger and walnuts, chicken and spinach, with prosciutto, shaved Parmesan, and wild mushroom sauce, or the chicken duo, which gives you a little taste of each. There are also shrimp, lamb and veal options, and even a delicious surf and turf. One thing that Grand Finale has become famous for is its crepes, and for good reason. They serve up their crepes in fun and interesting ways, and you could them alongside any of the delicious dishes you choose. You can choose from a number of fillings, including crepes champignon, filled with mushrooms and melted cheeses, crabmeat, seafood crepes, with lobster, scallops and shrimp in buttery seafood sauce, fresh basil and Monterey Jack, crepes coq au vin, with nutmeg, white wine and almonds, and spinach. Any of these would make a fine addition to an already delicious meal, or a great meal on their own. Make sure you save room for dessert, because after dinner sweets is another item this restaurant is famous for. Try their strawberry raspberry crepes, with blackberry yogurt and fresh berries, the chocolate cordial pie, a wedge of chocolate mousse in pecan crust topped with cherry cordial, caramel custard, special cheesecake, which consists of whatever their bakers have created that morning, normal cheesecake, and the Cheesecake, Cheesecake, Cheesecake options, where you can sample three delicious cheesecakes along with fresh berries. There are numerous other decadent options, but you'll have to come to discover them for yourself. The Grand Finale is a great way to find delicious French cuisine just a few miles from your Cincinnati apartment, so when you get a craving for some crepes, or a juicy steak, or some decadent desserts, step right up to the locations that's being heralded as one of the greatest in town.
