Dogs PolicyWhile we are a pet-friendly apartment community and love our resident pets, certain aggressive breeds, including mixed breeds, are restricted at all Cortland communities. We do not allow the following aggressive breeds/mixes at our communities, including, but not limited to Rottweiler, Chow, Presa Canario, Doberman, Akita, Pit Bulls (Also known as American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, or Bull Terrier).

Except for assistance animals, the following purebreds or mixes with these breeds are not permitted: Akita, Alaskan Husky, Alaskan Malamute, American Bulldog, Bull Terrier, Chow-Chow, Dalmation, Doberman, German Shepherd, Pit Bull (American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, American Staffordshire Bull Terrier), Rottweiler, Shar Pei, Siberian Husky.

Other Pets PolicyFish are allowed (maximum tank size: 50 gallons). Exotic species including hamsters, gerbils, mice/rats, ferrets, rabbits, birds, and all reptiles are not permitted without written permission from the community manager.

Dogs PolicyDog breed restrictions include, but may not be limited to pure bred and mixed breeds of: All forms of Husky, Chow-Chow, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Pit Bull, American Bull Dog, Mastiff, Standard Doberman Pinscher, Malamutes, Fila Brasileiro and Presa Canario dogs. Breed restrictions may be modified with written notice from management. For information on service animals, please call our office.
