      “Furnished” mountain space located right on Chicago Creek. The cottage is a place to disconnect and get back to nature. This cozy space is smaller, but provides an abundance of outdoor space including a patio on the creek and fishing bridge. Only 4 miles to town and 9 miles to the base of Mt Blue Sky. ? Please note: There is a current tenant. You may schedule a viewing of the property closer to mid April or we encourage you to drive by the location and check out the area before filing out an application. Please do not disturb the current tenants. The creekside cottage offers modern amenities with mountain chic decor. Newer queen size mattress and frame with pull out storage drawers and two USB charging stations. The bathroom is quaint and newly updated with a one person shower and detachable shower head. ? PLEASE NOTE: The bathroom has a Tiny Separette. The Tiny is a urine diverting waterless toilet that is especially developed for Tiny Homes and other small spaces. This is not a composting toilet. It is sanitary, easy to use and there is no smell. Please look it up in YouTube to learn more. The cottage includes a microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot, electric cook top, and all cookware. This is a kitchenette and not a full size kitchen! There is also an extra smaller mini fridge located outside for drinks only!! During winter season ONLY, (October-April) you must have one of the following. Front wheel drive with "snow tires", AWD or 4x4. Parking is located in front of the cottage and will fit two smaller vehicles with the option to park a second vehicle above the cottage near the road. Rental terms: This is a 6 month lease (with option to extend) with required 30 day written notice to either vacate or stay. Terms will change to month to month if tenant(s) want to extend their lease. All interested parties must fill out a pre-screening questionnaire. If the cottage is the right fit, an application and application fee must be submitted. This will include a credit check, rental history check and a criminal background check. Absolutely no smoking, no illegal drugs and no pets/animals are allowed. NO EXCEPTIONS! There is one external security camera/recording device outside that faces the driveway and parking area. We honor your privacy and space, and this is just to keep the property safe. *This is a 1-2 person ONLY unit. We are looking for someone quiet, respectful, drama free with plenty of references and rental history. *Must show 1 year of stable income with 2.5x the monthly rent. 640 or higher credit score with positive rental history. First, last and deposit due at signing. $100 off first months rent if signed by or before April 15th. *You must be able to take care of the property including yard maintenance & snow removal.
