The first established park uses the Guadalupe River as its source of inspiration. The first park features long rides that last about twenty minutes and some use large tire tubes in the water, which is a rare find. The two newer parks have chlorinated pools if you prefer this to the river water in the original park. Schlitterbaun allows you to pack your own lunch or dinner and you can bring your own beverages in coolers if you life.
