Apartment to SHARE: I have one bedroom available in a very large 2 bedroom apartment in Somerville near Tufts (yes, the street is technically Somerville surrounded by Medford). The bedroom is the larger of the two and will not be furnished. It contains a big closet with built-in shelving and is on a corner so there is lots of light from two big windows. There is plenty of common space - living room, dining room, finished enclosed front porch, huge brand-new kitchen, outdoor back porch, good-sized bathroom - and also room for more furniture throughout the apartment. There is laundry and storage in the basement accessible from the kitchen. On- and off-street parking available. $1250 includes rent and utilities: Verizon FiOS, DirecTV, gas (heat), electric, water, trash. First month, last month, and 1/2 month security deposit at signing. The street is very quiet even though it's right off Boston Ave. The 80 and 94 stop one block away and other buses nearby are 87, 88, and 96; Davis Sq is a 20-25 minute walk. The Mystic River and hiking trails are at the end of the street and I-93 is 5 minutes away. Whole Foods, Starbucks, and Sav-Mor liquors a 3 minute walk. I work in an architecture firm downtown with normal hours, I'm a former pastry chef, and I'm a knitter not a fighter. I have a 13.5 year old terrier who has the run of the house but normally keeps to himself when I am not home. He is well-behaved and not a chewer or very barky and in good health.
