The place is the Alamo, where San Antonio apartments dwellers must visit to see the site of this historic mission where Texans battled to gain their freedom from Mexico. Located on just over four acres close to downtown San Antonio apartments, the beautiful park incorporates the renovated mission site with the Shrine, the Long Barracks museum and a gift museum. The entire site is a dedication to the Texas Revolution and Texas History and is a gift of the past to Alamo apartment dwellers. It's free to visit the Alamo and its amazing displays of 19th century items and to see a rendition of the soldier barracks of the time. It makes you appreciate your 21st century San Antonio apartment. Tours are offered to the 2.5 million visitors each year every hour except from noon to 1 pm. You can spend 30 minutes to all afternoon looking at the displays and lounging on the beautiful grounds. Since the site is just a short distance to the Riverwalk, Alamo city apartment residents have a great reason to visit. The Riverwalk is a great opportunity to get downtown, and you can stop by the Alamo on your way to or from your apartment.
