The Guenther House is more than a restaurant. It is an experience. Apartment-ites can tour the historic home of the Texas flour magnate Carl Hilmar Guenther and peruse the San Antonio River Mill Store before they eat. Or do it after and find the ingredients for your favorite menu item specialty! The food is a comforting blend of old home favorites like Chicken salad and specialty items like the Champagne Chicken Enchiladas. The staff is accommodating and you can tell they like their job! The environment is casual and comfortable with prices so reasonable you leave with your wallet as full as your tummy. Lucky San Antonio apartment-ites can even schedule a special event for the lovely upstairs room with a breathtaking view and superb hospitality.
