Great Salt Lake City apartments are not hard to find, especially when you get to live near the Great Salt Lake. Between the beautiful sunsets over the lake which you may be able to see from your Great Salt Lake apartment, and the access to shopping for your Salt Lake City apartment, you're in a great place. Sailors and swimmers, walkers and picnickers will delight in the gorgeous turquoise water and white sand beaches. The Great Salt Lake is a huge park but because of the name, it is most associated with Salt Lake City. Ensign Peak is one of the destinations for great views of the lake that is located in northern Salt Lake City. The lake itself is known for the buoyancy it provides for swimmers, as well as the historical fiction about a giant monster that lives in the lake. Not many fish exist in the lake - just tiny shrimp used for prawn food, for it is too salty. You and your friends don't need to bring your floatie from your Great Salt Lake apartments to the lake, as you can float on your back all day long without a blow up device. If you have a chance, visit the Great Salt Lake Shorelands Preserve in the Layton area. It is the largest lake between the Great Lakes and the Pacific Ocean, and is the largest saltwater lake in the western hemisphere. With the lake 75 miles long and almost 35 miles wide at its widest, its proximity to Salt Lake City apartments runs from nearby to far away. Take a view of the lake soon; it will float your boat.
