Think TWICE before moving here!!!!!
January 25, 2025Living here has been nothing but a headache. The management team completely dismisses maintenance requests, no matter how urgent they are. I had a malfunctioning dishwasher for weeks, and they either ignored my calls or gave empty promises about when it would be fixed. Or they just simply closed the request without replacing the dishwasher. We have had a broken faucet valve outside and it was poorly installed in the summer. We told management it needed to be fixed and now our valve has burst ...because of cold temperatures. Communication is nonexistent—emails go unanswered, and trying to get anyone on the phone is a joke. We leave voicemails and they are not returned. Staff seems to turn over every couple of months as well as property maintenance staff. My husband and I literally feel stuck here. On top of that, the staff is incredibly unprofessional. They treat tenants like an inconvenience instead of valued renters. It’s clear they only care about collecting rent, not maintaining the property or addressing issues. Spacious but rodent problems
April 24, 2022I lived in one of the three bedroom very spacious units. I loved the area and walking paths. The neighborhood is very nice and schools are great. My apartment was outdated, but still nice. My biggest complaint would be mice. I had them my last winter there and I had to contact management more times than I would've liked to about this issue.Review from Apartments.com
You can hear upper level residents all day
August 8, 2021While the area as a whole is very nice and the apartments are nice, the amount of noise you can hear from the upstairs neighbors as a lower level resident is RIDICULOUS. I had assumed it was just the residents that lived there when we first moved in that were extra loud, but now that new people moved in, I’ve realized it’s just the apartments. I can hear every step they make all day. I can hear them talking through the vent in the living room. When they shower in the master bedroom I hear nothing ...but loud creaking from the shower floor for however long their shower is. (Which I’m currently listening to now for the last 10 minutes as I try to nap) These apartments are too high priced for this. I’ve lived in other lower level apartments and have never had this much issue with hearing upstairs neighbors. It’s like the floor insulation they’re walking on is non existent. Also, having a third party water bill? Raises your water bill so much with unnecessary extra fees. Live somewhere else
August 1, 2020Visually appealing, but unfortunately, that's all. The gym is small and filthy. Management is rude, unprofessional, and dishonest. When asking questions, each staff member will give you a different answer, usually contradicting each other. They set timelines the tenants must follow (like all communities) but don't follow them themselves. Will minimize any concerns you have and brush them off as "no big deal". Unprofessional
January 18, 2019Lived in a 2 bed 2 bath apt & when my lease was up I requested to transfer to a 1 bed 1 bath apt. They informed me that I could not downgrade apartments & I could only stay in the same one or upgrade. After I thought about it, I realized that I had never seen any terms like these in my lease agreement. I called back & asked if they could tell me what page of my lease this information was on. I got a phone call a few hours later with "great news" that I actually was able to downgrade to a 1 bed 1 ...bath. There are many unwritten rules that they come up with to try to get more money (do your homework). To add to that, I decided I did not want to stay there for those reasons, so I told a lady in the leasing office that I would not be staying with Asherton & she told me she had paperwork for me to sign whenever I get a chance (nonchalant, right). So with their narrow office hours, I was finally able to take time off of work to sign paperwork. I have been moved out for a month now & received charges for not having a written 45 day notice. Even though I had verbally expressed my vacancy & talked about moving on from that apartment (about 60 days before move out) & was told in a nonchalant manner that I can come in to sign paperwork "whenever I want". So I received a $600 charge that I now have to pay because they all of a sudden want to take a written 45 day notice seriously, after I had been told to come in whenever I get a chance. So they want to take policies seriously when it's the most convenient for them because they didn't take it serious when they made up an unwritten rule to try to get me to spend more money on an apartment. And I have a 7 pound dog that "smelled up the whole apartment" (he's hypoallergenic & is groomed every 3 weeks, he doesn't smell) & evidently peed on the carpet at some point & I also got ANOTHER charge because apparently they have to relay the carpet because of a spot that couldn't have been larger than a baseball. Which is also interesting seeing as when I moved into the apartment, I had to rent my own Ozone machine to clean the stinch out because it was so bad (they didn't care to clear the odor out after the people before me). I'm sure they charged the people before me for the same thing but neglected to fix it. & it's highly unlikely that they'll tear the entire carpet up because of a little stain that a little water and dish soap could get rid of. December 14, 2017I'm renewing my lease here. It's quiet and we haven't had any problems. There is a tanning bed and gym at the office that are free to use and a pool. It's not cramped like most complexes. We came from upper arlington and this was a step up from where we were at governors square.Review from Apartments.com

January 8, 2017It's amazing how the other reviews here use the same writing techniques and vocabulary. Two of them are almost identical with their description of the "astronomical" utility bills. AMAZING!! Like they were written by the same person...(maybe someone from their office) Here's a real review: Maintenance crew does not fix broken things in the apartment. They tell you to "deal" with it. They don't follow their own guidelines but threaten you if you don't, even when it's an innocent mistake. The front ...office is terribly rude and incompetent. Their landscaping is beautiful...must be to draw you in. The unit is FREEZING in the winter and terribly hot in the summer. I would NEVER recommend this place. Lived there for 3 years
August 30, 2016After living there for 3 years, i was pretty bitter about being there, but honestly after living elsewhere, you start to realize just how good the asherton is.. I honestly would move back in a second.. and miss the community, which was about the best cross between apartments and housing life you can get. It's a close knit community, that consists of working class people, kids that play outside, and a clean well manicured park like setting.. It's safe, and the class of people are well beyond that ...of most other places, it's a community of different ages,and culture, it's well balanced and not too old, or too young.. I was bitter because after 3 years, they never fixed my fridge, and the Electric bill was astronomical, but... They have recently started upgrading the heat-pumps and have remodeled many of the interiors of the units. My wife and I can't wait for our current lease to end, so that we can look into moving back.. June 20, 2016The Apartments are older.. They aren't flashy when you see the inside, they look dated, they look as if they could use some upgrades, and updates.. But, the exterior is beautifully detailed and well kept, the complex is beautiful.. Honestly i wish i never moved away.. I moved because the cost of utilities here is astronomical due to the 35 year old furnaces in the apartments. I really wish they would upgrade all of these, because i would love to move back into them..Review from Apartments.com

July 29, 2015Asherton of Dublin is an awesome place to live! It offers five massive ponds stocked with tons of fish for your enjoyment. It also offers three tennis courts and a full basketball court. Inside the club house you can enjoy free tanning, a relaxation room and a very nice fitness area. To top it all off they have a very nice inground swimming pool with beautiful patio furniture. July 22, 2015The green rolling hills of Asherton of Dublin remind you of a golf course and all its glory. The four stocked and huge ponds provide plenty of fun in the sun fishing. The pool is a refreshing choice after an intense workout in the workout room. The free use of the tanning bed is also a nice perk.
