  • Minor issues but overall a nice place to live

    I've been here for almost 2 years now and I haven't had any major issues. The neighbors are great and everyone seems to mind their own business around here. Turn around time for maintenance requests is a bit longer than I would prefer, but the staff has always been friendly and accommodating in my experience. The application process was pretty easy to get through, as we applied 2 months ahead of our desired move in date so there was plenty of time to get things processed and a unit ready by move ...
    in. Overall, I love how close we are to aldi and sheetz and I've had a really good experience so far (about 2 years here) I can see myself signing another lease!

  • Unwanted Trash outside

    My daughter wanted to live here, but after driving throughout the complex multiple times and at different time and days. I noticed near the back there is trash , a huge pile of unwanted things sitting next to a building which people live in. That is un sanitary and who wants to see that?? No wall to cover it, who wants to live near that daily and see that on a daily basis ? I’m Surprised the health department hasn’t been called .

  • DONT RENT HERE !!!

    Have lived here for only 2 months. Have been dealing with roaches even thought there were supposed to be none. When I say roaches I mean everywhere. Bathroom, kitchen, living room. They have come to spray three times now and they are only getting worse. Do not rent from here. They lied letting us move into a apartment connected to people that have had bad roaches a year before we ever even moved in!!’

      I apologize that you are having this issue. Unfortunately this is a problem that was brought to our attention after you moved in. Since becoming aware of this we have been able to determine the unit that is the problem, and they moved out yesterday. To date we have treated all 4 units in your building according to the exterminator’s recommendations to remedy the issue, unfortunately it does take time and several treatments. We have sent you more instructions via email regarding your move out, we hope that we can come to an acceptable solution. Regardless of what you choose to do we will continue to abide by our exterminator’s recommendation which will result in more treatments over the next 30 days. Thank you!

  • Worst place ever!! Bed bug infested!!

    I was a resident for many years, and never had a problem here until Towne Properties took over, this neighborhood is horrid, they have jacked up the rent on crappy apts that have wall ac units that never keep you cool and they are bed bug infested!! They keep spraying but they won’t go away, do not recommend

      We are sorry, but we do not have record of a Lindsey J having lived at Brittany Bay. Since Towne Properties took over management of this community, there has been just one report of bed bugs and that matter was completely resolved last June.

  • A good place only if your neighbor's are

    I lived there 3 years ago. My main problem was my neighbor. He would play music at night to help him sleep, but the bass was loud enough to prevent me from sleeping. The police said it was the management's responsibility. Management spoke with the neighbor, but the issue was never resolved. I moved after my lease was up because of this issue. Had I had a better neighbor, I'd still be living there.

It's a process whereby complaints must be documented over time and then if unresolved, legal action is taken. Unfortunately, it is a process that can take months. Of course, Towne was not managing the community at the time, so we really can't speak to what transpired. We are just sorry that you felt the need to relocate, and we hope you are happy in your new location.

  • The worst

    Avoid at all cost. My boyfriend and I lived here for 2 years. So far so good at first, but then it got un-livable... apartments are outdated. It gets super hot in the summer time and A/C is terrible. Our electric bill was always over $170 a month.. since everything runs electric. Our apartment was broken into and they stole $2,000 worth of stuff. Since my boyfriend worked nights, I was not staying in a place where I did not feel safe at night. We moved out the next day. It is simply not safe!! ...
    There are boxing matches in the streets, loud music, drug deals. Cops did nothing, managment does nothing, very disappointed in our first apartment.... And they raise rent evey year like the place is worth it! AVOID AT ALL COST.

    As a resident of many years. This place is great deal for the price they charge. It has its issues like most places do. But you can’t plow a parking lot when it’s full of cars. They do clear the road ways for you. Shovel the walkways and mailbox areas. Grass is always cut and looks good. They hold packages at the front office for security and not left at front door to be lost or stolen. They do correct and leave notices for violations that are against the rules. Such as trying to have 3-4 cars in ...
    one household. Not picking up after your pets. Trying to use multiple parking spaces or not parking in a space at all !!There are lights everywhere along the garages that are included !!! People who complain about this place are the ones who want more for less. They knew what they signed for and have issues with it after the fact cause they can’t park in the middle of the road, or the yard, or they don’t want to clean their own apartments on a regular basis and not be charged for it when they move out. Complain about broken items or work orders that don’t get filled cause they don’t report them till it’s time to move out or won’t allow entry to fix the issues. I enjoy this area and accept it for what it is. Couldn’t be more appreciative of this place and the opportunity to live here that they have gave me. The staff always has a answer for me when asked and Lisa is one of the very best property managers that has helped me through the years.

  • Terrible, worst place, stay away!

    I made the mistake of renting here now, well they don't take care of snow in parking lots, cars stuck in spots, and can't get in spots either. Say they will never happens! Bathroom has mold behind tub growing out won't take care of it. Electric bill is terrible because of poor insulation and bad electric heat, windows leak air big time. Stay away or you will regret it.!!!!!!!!! I am.

  • A Place I'll Miss

    Brittany Bay was a great place to live. My neighbor made me feel so comfortable, along with the rest of the community. My car was very safe, and was never vandalized, even though I had a garage, whcih I never used. In the summer the pool was very refreshing and clean, and when I came home from work I often jumped in it too relax. The upstairs air conditioner unit cooled down the entire upstairs, and with its soft fans I was able to let it run all night and sleep like a baby. Thank you Brittany ...
