  • Dishonest Management/Team

    September 22, 2021
The Community Manager and the Leasing Consultant were misleading in the application process. They stated it would take 24 to 48 hours and it took almost 6 days to complete the application process. When they finally came back with their desicion they had outdated and incorrect information and were very rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. Also, when we tried to call them during the posted business hours we had a hard time reaching them to speak to them. Then they send you an email that you ...
can't reply to. No one should be subject to this type of treatment.

  • Horrible management and TONS OF CRIME

    July 2, 2021
I moved here about 2 years ago and while i enjoyed it when i first moved in, the management and property overall has gone severely downhill. They have changed property managers now for the third time and the new manager seems to be as lazy as they come. The amount of crime that takes place here is very concerning considering Dublin cops don’t respond to this location, so it can take a long time. There was a shooting a few weeks ago and it took over 30 MINUTES for any police or emergency personnel ...
to arrive! And a severe car accident took place out front lastnight with the same result, no officers for over 30 minutes! On top of all of these problems, i am finally in the process of moving out. They decided to bump my rent up nearly 200 dollars just to go month to month for 2 months before i move out. I tried to reach out to an ardent supervisor but the property manager chandler told me i am not allowed to speak to a supervisor, however he would “plead my case” for me, and then followed up with a text saying there is nothing they can do to help me. There is absolutely no loyalty, and the workers act like robots who don’t understand what they are doing. Very sad to see what used to be a good place go down hill so quickly. Whatever you do STAY AWAY FROM GAGE CROSSING. Lots of better options in the area for cheaper prices that won’t continue to go up everytime you resign!

  • Poorly Managed

    September 30, 2020
First off, the property description is comical. The staff is not “top-notch” or “paramount” by any stretch of the imagination. Property has substantially gone downhill in the last 8 months. There are known criminals living here. Management needs to do a USPS audit and find out who is getting mail & match it up to who's on the leases in here. The move in specials are “paramount” but for a reason. Dog Park is a swamp especially on a hot day after they run the sprinkler system literally all day ...
making it a mud hole suitable for hogs. No obstacles or anything for dogs to do (tunnels, houses, etc.) no lighting either. Supposedly someone lives here & receives cheaper rent to clean grounds. Yet to see that. We always bring our concerns to the manager and they always says they're "working on it" but nothing is ever resolved. The management has changed 5 times in two years. Consequently, there is no follow through on anything compliance or promises made. The breezeway entries are constantly dark, burnt out lighting & filthy; full of debris, trash, cob webs, toys, peeling entry doors and dirty siding & decking. Check out the patios; some have sofas, dining tables, etc. We have noticed with each new manager, they each carry his or her own list of pet peeves. Last manager solely focused on patios. The current manager is all about the dumpster and bulk area. They tend to focus on their pet peeves and nothing else. Listen to your residents! You can address other complaints while working your own agenda. It should not take 6 weeks and five calls to address a dark breezeway or indoor furniture on a patio. The pool is mostly full of people who do not even live here and/or are 15 of one resident’s closest friends. They do not check so feel free to bring your carload of friends & family for a swim. The “outdoor kitchen” is a propane grill with a brick surround, not a kitchen. One grill for all the units. How do you think that goes? It was & could be a really nice place if the management would stop changing & there was some follow up on resident concerns & an actual daily grounds crew. I am sure they will reply to this review with their standard copy & paste reply inviting us to contact the office to discuss these concerns. We already have, multiple times & this is why we can no longer recommend Gage Crossing & why we are moving.

  • Noisiest place we have EVER lived!

    September 19, 2020
The management put these self closing door hinges on the front entry doors and the residents just allow the doors to slam CONSTANTLY. Knocking stuff off the walls, shaking the windows, causing dogs to bark & just creating a constant disruption with every coming and going in this place (& there are a lot of comings & goings). Also, this place must be under a flight path because there is constant aircraft flying over very low (at least 10-15 per day). It’s loud. For some reason, people live to ...
stomp and run up & down the breezeway stairs as well. There is also a ton of shouting, fighting, loud music, bass, car racing/engine revs, slamming cabinets, dropping toilet seats and other living noises that should be suppressed by good construction practices (soundproofing) this place is lacking. Don’t bother ringing the front office. They do not care and will act empathetic but do absolutely nothing! It is so loud here all the time and impossible to work from home during the pandemic. Spend a little more and pass on Gage Crossing. It’s not worth it!

  • Honest Review

    September 9, 2020
Here is an honest, professional summary of our stay at Gage Crossing: 1. Highly competitive move in promotions-beware-over promise & under deliver. 2. Mgmt. changes every 83 days (3yr avg.)-No follow through on anything-get it in writing! 3. Background checks are questionable-we did a public check on neighbors revealed this-lots of fighting, slamming, shouting, loud music, car racing & vehicle thefts/break ins-police on site often.4.One compactor (constantly overflowing), etc.-fitness center is ...
decent. Free sawmill ath. club membership. 5. Mgmt. does not enforce the rules-zero compliance-takes a long time to address complaints/issues-noise complaints must be verified in person by onsite manager who takes forever to show up (if they ever do). We call & email and nothing. 6. No daily grounds clean up-lots of litter, cig butts, fast food waste, etc. unsupervised kids run, scream, jump & play in entry ways-Impossible to enjoy your unit. You can hear your neighbors very clearly in their bathrooms, among other things. 7. Mgmt owns utility companies-sub meters-Water & Elect.-high bills & fees. If you want internet/tv, must go through AT&T (they wired the buildings as the exclusive provider & the complex gets a $$ kick back for all its AT&T customers)-Shocker! 8. Landscaping crew is careless-dead grass & trees-blows mulch & grass everywhere (patios & front doors)-only the walk to the model apartment is clean with no trash and a spotless entryway. Rest of entryways are filthy, dark & never cleaned (mulch, trash, cobwebs, dirty walls, etc.). 9. Pool is not monitored-off site users-tons of guests-constant loud noise, breaking glass (be careful) foul language, screaming. 10. Nice interiors-poor paint quality-nice carpet-nice kitchens-drafty windows; ice inside during winter months-cheap front door paint peels constantly looks awful! 11.CONSTANT SMELL OF WEED!! 12. Your auto insurance will go up when moving here because it is technically Columbus. Every property has its aches & pains however, given our experience, lack of compliance & very poor response time, we cannot recommend Gage Crossing Apartments. Problems similar to these will arise wherever you are at some point and it's how they are handled that makes the difference. If these kind of things do not bother you or you want to live your best life and party hard all the time with no rules, then go for it, this might be a good fit. Thankfully, we now live elsewhere.

  • Terrible....

    August 21, 2020
I used to live here when they were brand new and everything seemed fine at the beginning. Once the first management team left it was an unpleasant experience overall. I saw three different managers/staff members during the time I lived there. I had to put up with the neighbors constantly hitting the bedroom wall with their furniture multiple times late at night and early in the morning for over 6 months on a DAILY basis...nothing was done about it and I could never get a good nights rest. I ...
notified the office staff, sent emails, talked to them in person on many occasions but no results and no resolution. In fact the manager at the time would hide in the office and never address any concerns. It was awful, annoying, and extremely rude to put it lightly. Every time I went to the restroom you heard the neighbors scurrying to the restroom as well....not only was this weird but a bit intrusive!! Every now and then a community letter would go out asking tenants to follow certain rules, noise complaints, and so on. Nothing more would come out of those letters and probably just a document to state the complex informed everyone. Anyway, during my last months there before my lease ended (thank goodness) the new manager was able to get the neighbors disruptive noises to a halt but that took multiple efforts (which is ridiculous) but it ended up ceasing. By this time I was so over the uncomfortable living standards that it was to late to have a better impact or mean anything because I was over it and ready to move ASAP. I am very grateful to have moved and will never look back....it was nice at first but to put up with intolerable dynamics and to know nothing was ever done to fix the problem because it went on for so long is something I will never go through again!!! This is unacceptable...

This place will do nothing to help you with complaints. We have a disruptive neighbor that parties into the morning hours. This community smells of marijuana 24/7! Good luck if you have a nice car it will get damaged and broken into. Don’t let the looks get in the way of reality. This place is pure hell! Don’t rent here!!

  • STAY AWAY STAY FAR AWAY!!

    January 18, 2020
Never had this level of ableism disrespect and just flat out being lied to. we went ahead and signed the paper work ( I feel as though I was coerced into signing a lease) not even 3 days in I receive a fine for a bed frame out side of my door. I am disabled and a wheelchair user and unable to move things my self my mom was coming back in 2 days to help move it. I went up and let them know my displeasure and they tried to force me to pay it and I basically said to shove it and that it wouldn't ...
happen. I should of known then the storm was coming. 3 months of relative calm aside from mateinence being crap it was okay, then my neighbors aggressive dog bit a resident and was going after my service dog and my other neighbors dog so I sent in a compliant. Nothing was done same "we will look into it" from tina. So I pressed the issue after the issue only got worse so then I receive a notice on my door saying I have illegal animals. They went back on what they told me to get me to stop complaining. I lost animals I have had for over 6 years. Before this incident I was going into mental health treatment from the stress of being medically unwell. This act of push back against me was handled in such a poor manner It sent me into a medical episode so bad i was taken to the mental hospital to be treated. Tina came into my home and acted so rude and pompous and laughed and shook her head as I began to have a medical episode. I tried to call there corporate office only to be blown off and my complaints falling on deaf ears. Then while I fought to keep my animals tina would passive aggressively leave my lease on my door step unprompted. Then they block the only handicap parking space with no notice to me for it to be repaved (it was flat before now is a huge hump) again I complain nothing is done tina laughs or just ignores my calls so that I have to go to the office myself. If u have even an ounce of respect for your pets, your money, or the disabled community go somewhere else. Look into ardent communities and you'll find alot of similar problems

  • Renters Beware

    November 26, 2019
In July we sold our home, we are in the process of building new. So in the mean time we need a place to rent. We shopped around and settled on Gage Crossing. After speaking to the staff and checking the place out we were sold. About a month into our stay, we started experiencing trouble with our neighbor. Noise!! At first we started by trying to handle this issue on a personal level. Only problem was the tenant avoided me. We attempted multiple times to make contact. After that failed we reached ...
out to the leasing office. Our RSA arrived found our complaint valid. He told tenant to lessen the noice. All good now right? No! The inconsiderate tenant amped up by purposely yelling slamming stuff, and jumping up and down. Childish reaction. I reached out once again to their leasing office. I was told if it continues that my only recourse is calling the police. So of course the noise continues till we hit a boiling point. At the end of September my pregnant wife is woken at 3:00 in the morning by yelling and screaming. We had enough. So we called the police. They showed up and spoke with the tenant. As soon as the officer left, a screaming match broke out between tenant and someone else. He was screaming about going to beat some one up. This went on for awhile and we called once again. This time the officer could not reach tenant. We recorded the event and showed it to the officer. He informed since nobody would answer the door that he could do nothing. We immediately reached out to leasing office, provided evidence and waited. The noise stopped for 2-3 weeks. Now it has started again and the office says that the rsa must witness the tenants actions. So this weekend when it started again we reached out to our RSA. Informed me that he could not do anything more and to call police. Since this has been going on we have documented and recorded the disturbances. Tina the manager of this complex told me nothing can be done because RSA didn't witness the last incident. I informed her that he said he could not do a thing. Now the office is asking for mediation. What is there to mediate? I reach out to a law office. Provided them with information. Says its a slam dunk. It's ridiculous that I will be out money, because this place can't do its job correctly. We found the tenant has a long criminal record for theft/drug possession/ domestic violence and has been evicted in the past! We were promised that all applicants had extensive back ground checks to keep trouble out!

I cannot tell you who works in the office because the staff changes so often. The amount of noise from neighbors is not worth the headache. If you go to the office to talk or discuss an issue they act as though you are bothering them or that they could care less. Their job should be to provide superior customer service if you ask me and address concerns. Many people have moved out and for obvious reasons. Had I known what I know now I would have never moved here. No one could pay me enough to put ...
up with all this noise. It is just not worth your peace. The office staff needs to do a better job handling this before it gets worse and all renters leave. This speaks volumes of this complex. Wish we could give zero star.

  • Beautiful Community!

Gage Crossing is a beautiful community. I have been a resident at Gage, since December of 2018. Absolutely love the amenities, especially the Fitness Center and Swimming Pool. The Leasing Staff are professional, friendly, and very welcoming! I highly recommend Gage Crossing, for those wishing to reside in the Dublin area!

I would give less stars if I could. The management is very unfriendly. The first manager was very nice but they moved her to another complex. Whenever I go into the office the management acts like I have just made their day worse, even though it's not to complain. The noise from neighbors is horrible and all the office does is send out emails asking people to be quieter. I guess if you're in to arena football you can enjoy the fact that the whole team lives here. Players often speed through the ...
complex and glare at you. It must be nice as the complex is not full and several people who moved in last year have already moved out. It's not all together horrible, they bribe you with raffles to write good reviews. I will be saving up to move ASAP
