No Central A/C 1 Bedroom Unit
August 12, 2024Absolutely do not move here without seeing your unit first. We were living out of state and unable to see the apartment before move in. It was not advertised that the 1 bedroom unit does not have central AC (when other units in the same building have central AC). There is a window AC unit in the living room, but not one in the bedroom. When we moved in, the unit smelled like dog pee but the property manager insisted no pets lived there previously, although they were replacing blinds with bite ...marks in them and told us they just replaced all the carpets. They said they would send deodorizer for the carpet. Still waiting for that as well as an oven rack for the oven we can't use (a week later almost). We weren't allowed to move in earlier because they said they needed to do maintenance, however when we moved in on our appointed day at the time they approved, maintenance showed up to replace the stove, bedroom ceiling fan and blinds, garbage disposal, smoke alarm and kitchen lights. So we were unable to unload our uhaul for 5 hours and had to just wait. Laundry is on-site, however takes quarters and no quarter machine on-site. Management has been wholly unhelpful. Neighbors are really nice though!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
The Worst
October 8, 2015Rent is cheap but you get what you pay for. These are not mid-sized apartments, I live in a one bedroom which is about 400 sqft, closer to the square footage of a flat or studio. The free internet is virtually nonexistent, I struggle to load email on my phone. The worst part is the roaches and the smoke smell, I have asked numerous time for management to do something but they continue to ignore my request. I honestly wouldn’t live here again even if it was free. One star is overrated.Review from Apartments.com
Sometimes, Small is Big!
July 21, 2015On a budget, But still need a mid sized one bedroom or two bedroom? You definitely want to check out "Holleman by the park". Response time from property management: Fast (that's very important) Environment, Clean. Utility bill (for average student home appliances), Great. Security, Good & Safe. Water, Cable and Internet free (But if you're an online gamer, you probably are better-off, getting your own internet - its just $30/month for like insane speed).Review from Apartments.com
