I've lived here
February 22, 2024This place is trash. Had sewage backup in my unit overnight MULTIPLE times and never did the full sanitization. Ac units do not work as they should, had to buy a high power fan for each room. Much more than I can fit in this reviewReview from Apartments.com
Worst place I ever lived!!!
March 18, 2023Management is worse than horrible. They absolutely do not care about people, only about money. They will not fix anything and then try to charge you for it when you move out. The place is falling apart. They haven't done one update in the 17 years I've known people living there off and on and they've had roaches the whole 17 years. You're lucky if they decide to open the pools for a month or two. They will evict for anything and everything possible no matter how good a tenant you are. Then they ...can get all those extra eviction fees and get new deposits and fees with the new people that rent the apartment. If they don't have a legal reason to pull out of their butts to evict you for, they'll put a fake but real looking eviction notice on your door. Then when you move out because you believe it's real, they'll charge you thousands of dollars for breaking your lease. I've unfortunately lived in many apartments in this price range, they all sucked for one reason or another, but this was by far the very very worst.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Horrible experience living here
May 4, 2022There's been roaches, mice, flies, and bed bugs. If you need to live somewhere cheap this would be the place to be. The property management lack in basic customer service and or want to do their job. You'd have to contact them numerous times if you had a question, sending an email just won't do you either have to keep calling or visit them face to face. Oh yeah, and good luck if you need something fixed or pest control. The maintenance people they hire at times are incompetent and they don't even ...know to put a screen window they'll just hand it to you to do it yourself because they're lazy just like the people in the office. It's been frustrating living here and I would never recommend anyone to move here! Just don't do it and if you live out of state or out of town they'll show you the best unit but it doesn't mean you'll be getting it. Do not commit if you don't know what your unit looks like! Save yourself the trouble and look somewhere else!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Trash.
February 15, 2021This place is a dump. Cockroach infested, to say the least. Extreme piping issues that cause middle and basement levels to flood, and the water damage is never taken care of. Save yourself the headache. Did I mention the roaches?Review from Apartments.com
9 weeks with no air conditioning (so far)
September 23, 2020I have been trying to get the office to fix my air conditioning for 9 weeks. They don't seem like taking it seriously. It has been an awful summer for me and my family. They do not seem like they care. I'm trying to get them to give me a rent credit but, more importantly, to actually fix my a/c. we need air conditioning and they need to take it seriously.Review from Apartments.com
Mold and bugs
September 6, 2020Have mold and bugs and every time I’ve approached the office they say it’s not there responsibility to deal with those items Although I pay for a pest control and rent for maintenance. Can’t even call them with a emergency number cause they don’t have one up readily available anymoreReview from Apartments.com
Complete Dump
June 3, 2020Roaches everywhere, mice infestations, cracks in ceilings and walls, windows don't shut completely, people steal things constantly, people leave dog poop in the hallways that doesn't get cleaned up for several days, people drop their trash and decide to just keep walking, so bags of trash will be outside broken open on the sidewalk for weeks. Nobody cleans up after their dogs. Sleep with a bar under my door every night because it is so sketchy. Someone once tried to break in my apartment and my ...dog scared them away. Have had to call the police multiple times since living here.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Total trash
April 30, 2020I no longer live here because of the ROACHES EVERYWHERE! Absolutely disgusting. It was way overpriced for the townhouse. Our bathtub leaked down in the living room and no one came to fix the ceiling like they said they would. Just overall horrible experience living there. Definitely would not recommend itReview from Apartments.com
Knollwood apartments
December 25, 2017I can’t wait to move out, horrible decision choosing this disgusting place to live. Don’t fall for their friendly conversations in the office unless you want to be trapped in a years lease with ROACHES! If you get the opportunity to speak with the residents that live there they will tell you why you should NOT move in. Walk the hallways of the apartments and take a walk around the community with out the staff and you will find the truth behind knollwood apartments. To be honest the rent should ...be lower then market price. You will also find trash scattered around the complex as well. Very disappointed in knollwod apartments.Property Manager Responded

August 15, 2015I have been living here at these apartments for over 5 years I don't have any major issues to name and I plan on staying there for the additional year to make it 6 yearsReview from Apartments.com
Knollwood Apartments
July 30, 2015I have lived at Knollwood Apartments for four years. When I first moved in, they weren't that bad. But over these past years, it has definitely gone down hill. Changed management multiple times, everyone worse than the last. Inconsiderate of residents' needs. Do not keep up with the property (especially the pools). The hallways always smell of sewage or marijuana. If I had the funds to find another complex, I would do it in a heartbeat.Review from Apartments.com
