June 14, 2023I have been living at this complex for 3 years, and since Asset Living has taken over management, it has been an infuriating experience. I LOVED the management we had right before them. They charged me a late fee during the management transition when the system was down and it took me 8 months to receive that $100 back. And I only got a response because I threatened to email and call them every day until I got the refund. When you submit complaints, they go unanswered. At one point my AC was ...broken for months during the fall... and it wasn't until I threatened legal action and to legally abandon my unit. Even then, the maintenance person took a look and told me that it was frozen and to turn off the air for a could hours...which did nothing. Eventually I checked the AC and there was MOLD everywhere and my filter was like 3 inches thick of dust... I had been sick for a month and that was the reason. I let the apartment know that their maintenance person obviously saw mold and my filter looking absolutely disgusting, and they didn't care. It still took them a week to change out my filter. They are also never in the office and never answer the phone. They are terrible and I can't wait for management to inevitably switch again. The community is full of tenants that have been there as long/longer than me. But I've seen at least 2 people abandon their lease because of the management.Property Manager Responded

DO NOT RENT HERE
December 5, 2022This place use to be a great place to live. Gated community, well kept property, on site security, monthly food trucks, communication, etc. However, since Asset Living took over it’s declined rapidly. The phone is never working when I call, emails go unanswered, and there’s no communication from the office whatsoever. I wanted to give this property management company the benefit of the doubt after reading numerous negative reviews from other properties, but they’re all right. They keep saying ...they’re working towards improvements, but I haven’t seen them yet. I thankfully only have a few months left on my lease and I can’t wait to get out of this place.Property Manager Responded

Asset Took Over September 2022 - RUN AWAY!
October 31, 2022I moved in several years ago, but ever since Asset Management took over in September 2022, this place has gone down the toilet. - Overflowing dumpsters - trash is not getting picked up in a timely manner. - Pool is green and smells for weeks. The pool has been out of operation for the better part of two months. - Many tenants fighting fake late fees on rent ($75-$200+), I guess because Asset did not deposit the checks in time. - No access to the online portal for many tenants, so we are unable to ...submit maintenance requests. - Also, maintenance requests and questions are not answered by email. I've had unanswered maintenance requests for almost two months, and I'm not the only one. - One apartment has been without AC for almost two months, I believe. - Multiple tenants with water in their celling. Again, maintenance requests go unanswered. - Honestly, I could keep going...Property Manager Responded

Worst apartment rental ever!
March 26, 2021Not a good place go live! Stayed there 3 years and they changed management companies like they change children's diapers. Belinda, the apartment onsite manager wants to be your friend instead of your manager. Moved out Jan of this year and still have not received my $300 deposit back, claims they don't have proof I paid my deposit since they have change management companies so many times. Pool was never opened since I was there. Very poor service. Do Not rent here if you want to be ripped ...off!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
You Won't Regret !
September 15, 2020I have been living at Timbergrove Heights for a little over 2 1/2 years & it has definitely been by far the best experience ever compared to my previous stays at other apartments. The community is so peaceful & well taken care of. The location is so convenient to everything around. The neighbors & just the other residence itself are all so friendly. Also it is very pet friendly here. The property manger here, Belinda is phenomenal, she goes beyond & above to assure the residence & property are ...all well taken care of as needed. The fact that she goes around & actually get to know her residence, shows how her residence are her top priority. Timbergrove has the perfect management for this property. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking to be around a quiet, & peaceful atmosphere, & having fun, & friendly neighbors !!!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Go See for Yourself!
May 5, 2020I've lived at Timbergrove Heights Apartments for a year now. I have waited to write a review because I had such a horrible experience at the last place I lived and wanted to be as objective as possible when taking the time to do so. I am giving Timbergrove Heights 5 stars because they've earned it in my opinion. I'll admit, I was somewhat nervous of the fact that Property Management exchanged hands a couple of times after I signed my lease here, but I understand that finding the right fit ...for a complex is an art and extremely important. Belinda has been the Property Manager for the majority of my stay here and Timbergrove Heights is truly lucky to have her. I hope the owners of the property recognize that as she is truly one of a kind. Timbergrove Heights is a mature small gated community with direct access to the White Oak Bayou Trail, rental includes access to the pool, bbq pit, stackable washer and dryers in each unit, and is very pet friendly. Overall, the community is made up of working adults, dogs, and seniors. It's very quiet, the grounds are well maintained and cleaned regularly, and neighbors are very friendly. The community offers the ability to rent online and pay your rent online. I took advantage of both and have had a very positive experience. The leasing office does not accept tenant mail - all mail is left in the tenant's mailbox, a USPS lock box, or on your front porch. All the images on the property's site are a realistic (not a staged one-off unit) visual of what you will get when renting here. If you're looking for a peaceful place to live, check it out.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
