    We've been living at Vistas for a few weeks now and love it! Ana was extremely helpful in answering our questions and getting us situated during our move-in. The residents I've met have been super friendly. The location of this building is fantastic with close access to the greenway and a quick walk to Plaza Midwood. Thank you Ana and everyone else for making Vistas a great place to live!

    The leasing office never answers the phone!!!!! You can try calling all day and still won’t ever end up talking to a live person. Just a recording that says they stepped away from their desk. However, if I go in person they are all sitting at their desks! Smh!

  • Looks better than what it is.

    I moved in under the impression that this was a quiet area with a great place to walk your dogs that is not too far. I couldn't have been more wrong. Since I have been here, it has been a rare treat if I ever get to use the pool which is always occupied by strange people, the construction across the street is noisy and an eye soar, there is trash all in the hallways and stairwells and even dog poop which I clean myself on a regular basis when I come home from work. Also there is police that show ...
    up here almost every night and music is blasted at all hours of the night. These are the worst apartments I have ever lived in which is a shame considering how much potential they could have.

    The location is great. Very close to uptown, midtown, plaza midwood, noda and all major highways. The apartments are decent. Just know you get what you pay for. There is always trash in the halls. The complex doesn't do a great job at up keep on the property. It's just very dirty and not very upscale living at an affordable price. If you can overlook how dirty the carpet floors are in the halls and the dirty parking deck then by any means stay here. If you're someone like me that takes pride in ...
    their community and where they stay, this is not the place for you. People always leave their old abandon furniture outside the complex, which is very embarrassing. I feel like for the money that we all pay every month on time, I shouldn't see as many issues that I have seen with the complex. I would prefer to live down the street in a out date apartment building that keeps up the maintenance and grounds than live here. I've notice this after a few months of living here. I am counting down until my lease is over so I can move. There isn't much storage space in the apartments besides the closet and cabinet space. They don't have good parking deck signs so unless you're familiar with the floors you really don't know where you're parking. Take your hard earned money and go somewhere, where you wouldn't be embarrassed if you had guest over, or upset yourself coming home everyday to dirty halls, stairways, elevators, parking decks etc. Trust me when I say there are other places in this area at the same price that are so much BETTER! I not trying to scare anyone way, Please beware of the situation that I am currently in and don't be like me. I just wish that I was able to get out of my lease and move somewhere that was cleaner. On a lighter note, Maintenance does a very good job at responding to request.

  • My view is great and the price is decent.

    Since day 1, I have had many issues with Vistas 707. Like many others we had ongoing delayed move in dates but we were able to work through the lack of communication. But now that everyone is moved in, the problems seem to be getting worse. The tenants were promised on site bikes and a "state of the art" fitness center. There are no bikes and the small gym does not have a single barbell or squat rack and the bathroom, water fountains, and "yoga studio" are locked from 5 pm to 9 am. Not once have ...
    the floors been swept including hallways, stairwells, elevators and "gym." There has also been a bodily fluid in the main elevator for about 3 weeks now. The smoke detectors in the apartments die about once a month and there is no way of contacting maintenance to get these replaced in a timely matter. Tenants are unable to split rent payments online. The managers will tell you that you can before the first of the month, but at that point you are unaware of the full cost due to the water bill. They also will never inform you if a package was delivered to their office for you. I had one sit there for over two months and no one bothered to send an email. There is also supposedly a call box outside of the apartments so that visitors or food deliveries can get inside. However, this has not been set up and you must walk to the parking garage every time a guest arrives. Last, but certainly not least, the security guard is only there half of the time and on special occasions you can find him sleeping in the locked clubhouse while on duty. I truly hope this helps people make well informed choices of where to live!

    I moved in Dec 2016. They were running some awesome specials at the time for free Dec & Jan rent. The office manager, was very welcoming with a bubbly personality. Although, she can be very scatter brained and doesn't offer many solutions, even admitting that she has no clue. I understand they you may not also have the answer but, its very unprofessional to respond like that. The community is luxury and it is a perfect place to live for its location, look and affordability if nothing else. ...
    My biggest complaint is how long it takes to get anything maintenance related done. The first day I moved in my heat didn't work. I put in the request right after moving in furniture. The manager told me someone would be arriving to fix it shortly. The entire weekend went by with no heat. I noticed there were some missing bulbs for my kitchen that I still have not got (It's Feb 1st), and I have put a request for my sink to be fixed a week and a half ago (still not fixed). The contractors that worked on the building just threw this building up too quickly. The kitchen cabinets are crooked, the kitchen outlets would not work the first week I moved in, my showers hot and cold is backward so at first I thought I didn't have hot water, and my bathroom sink is literally crooked on the countertop. They also didn't do a great job considering other ways to enter the building. You are given a key card enter the building. Your apartment door and mail box key are normal lock keys. BUT if you loose your key card, you might as well get ready to sleep in your car because there is no other way to get in... well other than catching a neighbor walking into the building. Oh and delivery? What delivery? If you order a pizza, I hope your driver knows to call you because they can't get into the building or parking deck. You will have to figure out what side of the building they are on and go outside to get it. I wish we had a way to buzz people in or have a code we could put in. Other than that, great place to live! lol We will see what the next 8 months brings.

  • A Picture Perfect View

    I absolutely love my spacious 4th floor, 2 bedroom, 2 bath corner apartment in downtown Charlotte, NC. The view is just like heaven. Watching the coming and going of the day is so entertaining, the television is just a distraction. At night I watch the lights on the Duke building as they vertically and rhythmically change colors, either from the balcony or the 2 double picture windows that are flanked by single windows and an awning window above. The ceiling in the living room is 14 feet high ...
    with both tract lighting and pendant lighting, which give it a contemporary appeal.. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and the counter separates the kitchen from the living room. the open concept allows you to move from one area to the other freely. The dining area is adjacent to the balcony where you can watch the hustle and bustle of the city while you dine. The master bedroom has a walk in closet that is so spacious it could be used has another room. There is a full bath and a washer and dryer. The second bedroom has 2 closets and a full bath as well. Ideal for a roommate situation or an eccentric house guest. The double windows in both bedrooms let in so much natural daylight, it makes turning on a light optional during the day. I love the fact that I can get into the elevator, go down to the garage, get into my car and be on my way with quick and easy access to the interstate. All in all I love this apartment because of its picturesque view, contemporary flare, and all the aforementioned amenities.
