Though the town is full of ice cream shocks, cookie caterers and bakeries, the best place to grab some delectable grub is at Edgar's Bakery. For years, customers have been making trips down to Edgar's to take in all of the brilliant confections that the spot has to offer, and each one comes away with a satisfied smile on their face and, of course, a major sugar rush. The hardest part of visiting Edgar's is not trying to find a sweet that will tickle your fancy, but instead trying to stop yourself from eating all of their delicious treats. Sweet treats are the main theme of this delightful bakery, decorated to the rafters to give each visitor a sense of calm, making it seem like a trip home, and once you take a bite of any of their delicious delectables, you'll wonder if you're mom's in the back cooking the dishes. Their delicious pastries include favorites such as butterhorns, cinnamon twists, bearclaws, raspberry and cream cheese meltaways, croissants in a number of flavors including chocolate, cream cheese, strawberry, and apple, and muffins in banana nut, blueberry, butterscotch pecan, cranberry walnut, lemon poppy or even Oreo. They also have a wide selection of other treats, including fudge and turtle brownies, butterfinger, chocolate marble, turtle, Oreo or New York-style cheesecakes, cookies in flavors such as ginger, chocolate chocolate chip, M&M, oatmeal chocolate chip, and white chocolate macadamia nut.
