If your looking to get out of your Dallas apartment for a night on the town and have a hankering for Tex-Mex then Uncle Julios is a-callin. One of the best places for Tex-Mex in the Dallas area, Uncle Julio's is sure to delight and give you a break from P.B. and J's in your small apartment kitchen. When you get there, you will be welcomed warmly and you will feel like you are part of an extended family. With a LARGE eating area with vaulted ceilings, Uncle Julio's feels like a cantina, decorated in reds, yellows and green colors. Their famous "Swirl" margarita is "off the hook." This is a frozen concoction of layered margarita and home-made Sangria hits the spot whether you are waiting for your table or kicking it there for happy hour. What really sets Uncle Julios apart from other Tex-Mex restaurants however, is the incredible food. Specializing in marinated and mesquite grilled beef and chicken fajitas, ribs, frog legs and jumbo shrimp the menu is one that no eater should miss. They also serve grilled Quail! Very Good! Good food, great service, and a really cool looking place to eat are all factors that should have any Dallas Apartment-ite jumping up and running for Uncle Julios. Uncle Julios is the Best!
