Explore Myrtle Beach
The nearby Atlantic Ocean may have more than a million gallons of water in it, but Myrtle Waves Water Park apartment residents can have a lot more splash packed adventure at Myrtle Waves than lounging on a floater on the waves. Located on 20 acres, the park is fun for Myrtle Beach apartment residents of all ages. Between the Lazy River and the Arooba Tooba (an exciting, different each time ride), people who have Myrtle Waves Water Park apartments don't want to miss out. When you go to a place like Myrtle Waves, you pay an entry fee of $29 for adults and $19.99 for kids under 42 inches ($19.99 for adults after 3 pm) and ride on all the rides you want to, you have a complimentary life jacket provided, showers and free parking. At the park you have a selection of raft rides, slides and family attractions to enjoy the water. Hundreds of lounge chairs line the Ocean in Motion and other sunny areas, with shaded pavilions and picnic areas available too. The pokey three mile per hour LayZee River will take you around the entire park on an inflatable raft, or you can get out at "docks," to visit various areas of the park. If you're in the mood for a speedier adventure, jump into Racin' River where you'll bullet along at 10 mph on a skimmer board. Eight slides decorate the park, from kiddy slides to big kid slides, and from dark and spooky slides to swirling, twirling ones. The tallest slide is ten stories high and the longest chutes are more that 350 feet long. You can bring the whole family from your Myrtle Waves Water Park apartments, as lifeguards are on duty at all times to guide and protect guests on all the chutes, swerves, curves and waves. Plenty of restroom facilities are positioned throughout the park as well as showers and lockers in case you'd like to be clean of chlorine before you return to your Myrtle Beach apartment.
