When you live in San Antonio Apartments, it's a great idea to explore this terrific city with all types of awesome parks and recreation. One of the best parks to visit would be the San Antonio Zoo where San Antonio apartment residents can get not only a great look at hundreds of animals and gorgeous plant life, but also have a wonderful workout through the huge park on 35 acres. Located close to downtown San Antonio apartments, it's also very close to Alamo Heights apartments. The San Antonio Zoo has been recognized for many years as one of the best zoos in Texas, and is well-known for its miniature train that travels around and through the park. The park has been around since 1914, with many residents of San Antonio Zoo apartments traveling through the gates to see the excellent animal displays.From Africa to the Amazon, and seeing butterflies to baboons, the wide array of animals here is bound to keep you interested. While the zoo has many events and activities that are children centered, adult San Antonio apartment dwellers can find plenty to do at the zoo as well. In addition to getting in a walk with the animals, the zoo hosts guest speakers and has their own docents, interns, zoo keepers giving daily and weekly talks to zoo visitors. "Breakfast at a Beastly Hour" is a five time a year program where San Antonio Zoo Apartment dwellers get to interact with the zoo keepers and find out about their job, but only after a great breakfast. Feasts with the Beasts and the San Antonio Zoo Run are a couple more events in which adults may participate. A visit to the zoo is not too expensive, just $10 for adults. San Antonio Zoo Apartment dwellers, however, may want to even become a member of the zoo for the pittance price of only $45 per year for an individual, and $65 for a family membership.
