Waipahu is one of the beautiful coastal regions in the world. Still, the area can be quite congested with traffic, but Waipahu has one of the better public transportation systems on the island. They have plenty options available to them as most of the locations are just a short flight off the island. Many locals travel to Australia, New Zealand or Thailand as most of these excursions are quite affordable.

Waipahu is a coastal community that is host to 13 vibrant neighborhoods. Unlike other island communities, Waipahu isn't stricltly a white or blue collar dwelling, it's a mixture of both. The majority of the residents came to live in Waipahu for the coastal environment. Their attraction is to acquire a plot of land that offers some privacy from the outside world. If this is what you're looking to live, then your best bet is to look for property in the Leeward Coast or Royal Kumia neighborhoods.
