September 30, 2024The maintenance depth is amazing. They're kind, hard working and listen to my concerns. The office staff and management has really stepped up in cleaning the complex up. There was a serious parking problem for a long time. The office staff put their foot down and got rid of the cars that were not running, stolen, abandoned, and didn't belong to residents. Parking is horrible because residents have more than one car in parking lots and some cars camp out for days in the parking spaces. Management does not treat this like your home
December 28, 2022First off, pest control services: property manager gives you two days notice that everything will have to be removed from the kitchen counters, cabinets and bathroom counters and cabinets (usually takes about 3-4 hours to remove and replace). Treatments are done during the week usually around 11am and pets/humans must evacuate for 4 hours (really sucks if you work full time). This is usually only once a year but if you have messy neighbors and have bugs in your unit you may have to do this ...weekly. Also, don't expect them to tell you if your unit no longer needs treatment, you either have to be a mind reader or make sure to call them before any planned treatments. I also once had the property manager straight up lie to me and tell me my unit was treated when it was not, they came back the next month to do it "again" and pretended like they just wanted to do an additional treatment. You will be fined $250 if you don't have everything prepped beforehand. This is by far the most invasive pest control treatments I've ever been subjected to. Second, lawn fertilizer: when this was treated in the spring, there was absolutely no notice given so I was out walking my dog when I noticed there were chemicals being sprayed out on the lawn (luckily, he was okay). They were still in process of spreading the pellets so there were NO signs up. It smelled like chemicals all day, since there was no notice given one of my neighbors had a kids birthday party planned with a bouncy house so there were also young kids (5-7) all over the grass the same day it was treated. In general, management does not treat these units as if they are people's homes, only as a commodity for them to squeeze more money out of you. Every time they need to enter your unit, expect only a day or two notice (not sure how they expect this to work with vacations), along with a passive aggressive clause reminding you that they have permission to do so per the lease agreement. My car was also vandalized here twice and when I asked about cameras management never responded. If you do have to live here, buy a dash cam that has a parking mode. The "resort" style pool was also disgusting the whole time it was open (green water, hair and debris visible everywhere), and the one time we tried to use the poolside grill it wasn't working properly and flames started shooting out of the control knobs so we had to call the fire department.
