Calm down and take a breath, apartment-ite, because one place has the right food, the right drink, and the right atmosphere to make you at ease, and will give you the perfect evening out. With its award-winning menu, it courteous staff, and its extensive and varied wine list, Bent Fork is an apartment residents best choice inf Denver dining. The moment you sit down and take a gander at the menu, you'll be blown away by all your options. Everything is made from scratch, and in hefty portions, unlike many other restaurants where style comes over giving you a full belly. To start you meal, you can try their delicious Green Lip mussels, or some of their Southwestern rolls, or try some of their artisan cheese. There are also plenty of delicious salad options, including roasted barbecue chicken salad, strawberry, brie and chicken salad, and a spicy pecan and Gorgonzola. Meat lover can rejoice, because there are a number of delicious options just for them, including the 12-ounce New York pepper steak, topped with grilled onions and applewood smoked bacon, served with horseradish, vegetables and mashed potatoes, Jamaican jerk pork chops, topped with mango chutney, buffalo pot roast with mashed potatoes and butternut squash, or slow-roasted prime rib. For those who prefer pasta, don't you worry, they've got you covered as well. They're served in the biggest of bowls, so you'll have plenty to fill you up, or take home with you to eat later. Try some of their spicy penne, with Italian sausage, mushrooms, and sun-dried tomatoes in a Parmesan garlic chipotle sauce, or their green chile mac and cheese, with jalapeno elk sausage, with poblano chiles, red bell peppers, red onion, corn, garlic and pepper-jack cheese. If fish is what you're craving, you can try their Rocky Mountain salmon, marinated in brown sugar, white wine and soy sauce, with seasonal veggies and Jasmine rice, salmon and chips, or their shrimp gamberetti, with garlic, mushrooms, pine nuts, and fresh spinach on top of capellini pasta, with garlic cheese bread. Plenty of upscale restaurants give you delicious food, but many times their portions are ridiculously lacking.
