Houston apartment-ites love their bars, and there are plenty of them too choose from, but with all the crazy happy hours, millions of TVs, dart boards, arcade games, and other odds and ends, you can sometimes forget the importance of a delicious drink, made just right. Little Muldoon's does just that, taking away all of the TVs and happy hours, and making it all about the drink. If you want a bar that delivers refreshing drinks without all the flash-and-bang of other bars around town, step right up to Muldoon's. Tired of all the pretentiousness of many of the bars around town, who hold long happy hours, or offer the best sports on their big screen TV, and then serve water-down drinks and cheap beers and wines, Chuck Muldoon set up his own bar, making it all about the beer. Make sure you dress your best, and leave the hats at home, because Chuck is strict about his dress code. If you wear a hat, prepare to get thrown out. Despite the strictness, the place still has a friendly and unpretentious air about it. It screams warmth, and any time you'll feel right at home. No matter if it's your first time through the doors of the fiftieth, you'll feel like a member of the Muldoon family. It also helps that he serves up a huge variety of some of the greatest beers in town. If you happen to be chess fans, they have two beautiful marble chess boards just perfect for your needs. If you're cruising through Houston trying to figure out the perfect bar for your drinking needs, be sure to park your carcass inside this little pub. Houston apartment residents are sure to have a great time, just remember to leave the hats at home.
